Yes this. I think there is/was some confusion. I think that Adam said that he thinks that they both are the same thing. He didn't even know that they were going to be released, so I don't think at the time he knew exactly what was what, or what was going on when he first said that. I don't know about that, though. From his series of tweets, Adam clearly knew they were two different projects. I think rabbitrabbit's post is a pretty accurate assessment. I think it's a mistake to assume that the fact that the Citizen Vein songs are co writes actually changes his opinion on whether or not he's okay with them being released. In a way, the CV songs are worse. The session tracks he can completely disavow. But the CV tracks are work he considers unfinished, and judging by the production on downloads of the preview clips, not up his standard at all. But still his name will be attached to them in an even stickier way. Sorry.... my premise is.... rabbitrabbit is putting HER take on what Adam was meaning .. that is not how others interpreted it. So we are all making our own assumptions ....based on our own interpretations. We do not know what he is meaning unless we ask him. AND NO ONE has done that....that I am aware of. As your feelings and thoughts aline with rabbit's you buy into her argument and others will buy into other argument(s). Basically, time will tell how things pan out. Right now, it is like Adam in that green laser vortex of smoke on AI (after mentoring). Pretty hard to see everything, but that was the point. Only all this smoke (and mirrors) is not "f'...ing" fun.

Eber & Neil's comments have had me wondering.
How about different scenario?
What if Monte's imagine doesn't fit into Adam's vision for his new album?
What if Adam had told Monte that he would not be included in his next tour? That he (Adam) would make the appropriate noise about not wanting his old CV songs released (for RCA contractual reasons) but he would let Monte do what he could with them.
Just thinking out loud.

Well, those tweets from MontePittmanWeb aren't Monte himself but his webmaster, so I don't feel like I can hold them specifically against him. However, they are really not all that different from what Monte said himself in his own statement, just phrased much more baldly. So I have plenty to be irritated with Monte about already. I do wonder if his webmaster, like his graphics designer, is a fan turned volunteer/employee/whatever. The light and love tweet? Sounds like a former glambert LOL. I hate that this is my first post here (You'll find that I'm a great flailer when the good stuff rolls in) but Monte is responsible for what his webmaster says. I don't see Monte jumping in there and saying no he doesn't agree. ALso, def a former glambert with the light and love stuff, not a friend of Adam's though, just no. Anyway...hi, new here, but an old fan of Adam's. I love the guy and don't care for the fuckery. Avi coming soon, under construction

I'm not sure the backlash at Monte is just because he is more visible. I think Susie said earlier that Welsford is scum and that is exactly what we expect from him. Even though Adam might feel a little hurt that this guy he thought was helping them back thebn turned out to be slime - he is likely to brush it off since he has been in the biz for years and knows this stuff happens all the time. So yeah, we can all hate on him just for being scum but it isn't really all that personal. There is a reason that Dante reserved the lowest circle of his hell for those who betray - this is something that is fundamentally wrong for most of us. From Judas to Brutus, we consider the betrayer to be vile. That is what has people worked up over Monte - it looks like he chose to betray Adam. I don't know if we will ever know the truth one way or the other, but that tends to be very emotional for people.This. So. Much. Welsford owes Adam nothing. Monte owes Adam A LOT, including loyalty, human decency and friendship. I can't imagine why am I more incensed with one then the other? ETA: Hai Scarlett!!!

Yes, or those are the street-teamers spurred by Monte and the people behind Welsford who are trying to promote this album everywhere we try to thwart it. This is an active campaign that involves several components, including a street team on fye, many of Monte's fans, and people who work for Welsford. They are posting the links on every Adam story, etc. Yes, so far, we've remained in pace with them, but still, the damage is done and the writing on the walls is that they are making a concerted effort to launch this in every way possible. Just correcting you on one point: there is absolutely NOT a street team on fye. That community (which is mainly people who post anonymously) is very much against the rogue albums and everyone involved in promoting them.

But this is where more that of assumptions stuff is going on. Just because i said that there may have been some confusion, doesn't meant hat Adam is okay with the release. He wasn't okay with it in 2009 why would he be okay with it now? And my earlier post was in reference too...hell I don't' even remember, we just keep jumping around over and over again regarding this subject... :-/

I heard it through the grapevine (and that you had to look for it), so that's great if it's not true.
