This might be the best thing forever-- Adam is now a color of yarn! I don't knit, but I'm seriously tempted to buy a skein! ;D Adam Lambert "What Do You Want From Me?" an excitingly bizarre, pleasantly likeable charcoal, black and grasshopper Link: www.decadentfibers.com/yarn/decadent_colorways.htmI wonder if the designer loves his green shirt - you know the one... Actually my first thought is the green is homage to the Rolling Stone snake. Grasshoppers are similar in color to that snake although some are much paler.

Grasshoppers are similar in color to that snake although some are much paler. Speaking of marketing skills - how many new visitors do they have to their yarn site because of Adam?!? They should probably send Adam a scarf!

(Badly!) Huh, maybe I could offer up a wooly hat knit from the Adam Lambert yarn as a future prize here or something? (*frantically tries to figure out how to get away with ordering "Adam Lambert" yarn, spending the several hours it takes to knit something like that, packing it up, and sending it off to a total stranger, without looking like a complete lunatic to her family and friends*) Here's how the yarn looks in a finished product, by the way: www.decadentfibers.com/Knitting%20Subweb/spicy_curry_sweater.htmETA: changed pic so I didn't post a pic of some innocent girl on an adam lambert fan forum!

Maybe we should all have a scarf made out of AL's yarn and wear them at concerts. Now if I only knew how to knit! Does anyone have a pattern simple enough for a newbie to follow?
Happy Birthday jesse555 and WELCOME, iceish!

Happy Birthday jesse555 and WELCOME, iceish! mayumi: Knitting a straightforward scarf is totally easy, once you learn the basic knitting steps. You don't need a pattern at all. All you do is go back and forth, back and forth, over and over again. And if you learn both knit and pearl (also easy) then you can experiment with all kinds of crazy designs just by alternating them. Again, no pattern needed.

I like that you change your look so often. Never gets boring to watch you. NoAngel TY for that yarn link. Only celebrities there are Adam and ;D Prince of Wales. I knit a lot (well quite natural, if you live in a place with long fall and winter), and I would love to have some yarn named after Adam. But not these colours. I would choose different shades of black(ish), dark grey(ish) and dark purple or that colour his tie was in X-factor FI. Oh nica575 your colours would be perfect. TY for the pic. And this is cool: Special Orders We LOVE to custom dye! If you don't see a colorway here that works for you, contact us, and we'll whip a batch up in the colors of your choice!www.decadentfibers.com/yarn/decadent_colorways.htm

Happy Birthday jesse555 and WELCOME, iceish! I been scrolling like mad the last few days because any talk of all the melodrama really upsets me. Today I sneak on to ATOP and thank God it seems sane (not exciting but sane) and then see we're going to knit. I don't know, but I think Adam better get his ass into gear or we're going to be wearing plaid shirts with homemade knitted scarfs to the next tour. I shutter to even think about it. I'm going to hide in the den and watch my GNT videos, maybe even River Rock, and try to remember what a wild and glittery bunch we were before being lulled into this desperate state. God, what's next, the SheepDogs? :-/

Happy Birthday jesse555 and WELCOME, iceish! I have, perhaps, an even better idea: what about a cuff or fingerless gloves. ETA We could evenpull a MJ and wear 1 glove....hehehe ETA2....a cuff could end up our atop equivalent of the pf bracelets...co
