Does crocheting count? (Yuu can't accidentally drop a stitch and later discover the whole thing is unraveling.) I make a mean afghan. But, that yarn, done up in a sweater, looks even more ugly than in the skein. They can call it anything they want, but it looks the same color as my dogs diarrhea. Not worthy of his name.

mwp - ok I'll practice on inexpensive yarn first.
OK - boring day at Atop but busy one for me.
70 lbs meat - check; 5 dozen eggs - check; 12 tins evaporated milk - check; 6 tins condensed sweet milk - check; garlic, green and red peppers; 4 lbs jimmy dean sausage; bread; onion; 2 lbs sugar; soy sauce; vinergar; salt; peppercorn; etc., etc. - check, check, check!!!
One messy kitchen - aaargh!
Cooking for my annual fiesta but with Adam music in the background and checking on Atop while cooking makes it actually a nice day.

Maybe we should all have a scarf made out of AL's yarn and wear them at concerts. Now if I only knew how to knit! Does anyone have a pattern simple enough for a newbie to follow? Happy Birthday jesse555 and WELCOME, iceish! mayumi: Knitting a straightforward scarf is totally easy, once you learn the basic knitting steps. You don't need a pattern at all. All you do is go back and forth, back and forth, over and over again. And if you learn both knit and pearl (also easy) then you can experiment with all kinds of crazy designs just by alternating them. Again, no pattern needed. Sure thing except for the little matter of keeping the tension even. I used to be fascinated with Fair Isle patterns. Might be a way to min the green which I don't like. Who am I kidding? I don't knit. |

But a cuff, Cassie, think CUFF..... An Adamtopia cuff. Possibly. Wonder if we could use the yarn to make some kind of necklace. Then, add a peace symbol or other brooch of our choice in the center. That could be visible. |
