I've been throwing a vote or two on the Q102 Hot boys thing but I just noticed The Biebs didn't make it past the first bracket. Guess his fan base isn't hitting up every poll anymore but I would have thought they keep the presence up at the radio polls. Well... Justin is 1) getting older and 2) dating. Perhaps the more rabid of his fanbase has started looking elsewhere? The Jonas brothers (who I actually think are decently talented considering they were aimed at the tween set) fell really fast once they hit a certain point.

This tweet is the first time I thought, "Adam, will you finish the damn album already and stop looking for songs!!" I hope he was just adding back up. You know, if Adam is getting ready to do his promo, and he wants back up singers, they could very well be auditioning now. He may be auditioning band members too, if all of the old band is not all available. <<< I am thinking about Cam. Her tour ends Nov 1st, so maybe the timing will be perfect though! [grins] I know a lot of you really like Cam, but I REALLY REALLY REALLY want Zac back on keys. He is so, so, so good, and adds a spark of creativity that Cam, no matter how much I may like her, IMO doesn't possess. IA. As an example, the FS WLL would not have been the same without Zac on the keys IMO. Also think if Adam is leaning toward funk - and who knows what else - that Longineau's background would be an advantage. Don't know how Yellowcard is doing, and don't know that L's ego would be such that he'd want to do another tour with someone else headlining. I don't mean that in a negative way. It takes some ego to do what one has to do in that business! Just feel he is very talented in many genres. Speaking with NO expertise whatsoever :

Just because people may still be sending him demos, doesn't mean he's actually soliciting them though.
Now that the word is out that his album isn't gonna be released until 2012, people may just think they still have a shot and are going for it. His A&R people are probably still sorting through anything that comes in, it's always possible that there might be a diamond in that slush pile.
Or it could be something for a special project and not for his album at all, you never know. But it doens't sound like a backup singer audition or anything, from Jerome's tweet about liking the song and reaching notes he never had before, it really does seem like the guy was called in to do vox for demo that was written for Adam's vocal capabilities.

Speaking with NO expertise whatsoever : I'm no judge of musical talent by any stretch, but I've always wished Adam could have Orianthi for guitarist. Having seen her open for Adam a bunch of times, I think she's mediocre as a singer, but amazing as a guitarist, and her look is fantastic!

I wonder if she'd be interested in something like that.

I heard her single a couple of times on the radio last spring, but nothing since. No idea what she's up to, or if she'd think going from MJ to Adam would be a palatable career move, but her talent is extraordinary. Just visually, I think it would be so hot for Adam to have a female guitarist.

But the US just wasn't buying it for some reason, sadly. It would be awfully hard to go solo, and then take a step back into a supporting role though.

Don't think it will happen she is Alice Cooper's new guitarist. Also she put out 5 song EP in October. I thought I remembered seeing something about that so I looked at her Wiki page. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OrianthiETA: BTW I wonder if Adam is at the Bryan Ferry concert. Lyndsey Parker is live tweeting from there and Sia mentioned it as well. He's at The Greek Theater in LA tonight.
