I have no idea what this means? Anyone? ??? @begformercyadam gave up their twitter name and was trying to change it to @citizenvein but within 1/2 hour @citizenvein was suspended. @indybeck71 was smart and in that 1/2 hour She took the name @begformercyadam so they couldn't use it any longer  Ack! IF THOSE GUYS WANT THE "CITIZEN VEIN" LABEL - LET THEM HAVE IT!!!  {Hmmmm....that's a bit oversized - ok pretend this is 1/2 sized of fake panic  ) Dammit, I think I want the album, but only if its properly labeled. If this is the first step in labeling the album properly...geez...give them the opening!!  ETA: That said, IMO indybeck grabbing the "BegForMercy" twitter account so it " couldn't be used for evil" is awesome. ;D ;D ;D |

Oh, good idea. Then again, thinking of getting that book for him for a present. Hey Lynne... if Nile is someone your son really looks up to.. I would let him know you want to get the book for him.. but give him the chance to go meet him.. if he can;t make it then you can just get him the autographed book ..but I really would give him the heads up the guy was going to be in town. Something like this happened to me.. and there were some very hurt feelings involved.. I will let him know. Thanks for caring.  |

NoAngel - wonderful important thoughts and questions! Over the two and a half years of the insane stanning I think I've self-analyzed myself to death. I even think that I have answers to all of your questions. I you don't mind - I would like to add one more (three , but they are really asking for the same type of self exploration): WHY are you here, in the depth of the crazy addiction that takes so much of your life/time/attention/mind? What "empty space" (if any) does this passion fill? Was there a "hole" in your life that got "filled" by the phenomenon that is AFL? I love your questions. These were the questions I used to ask myself A LOT.Not any more. He makes me happy every day and that's that. :D and mwp I'm happy I was a part of your dream ! ;D |

Thank you No Angel for your insights and your candor. For me, Art like communication is an act of the recipient. The impact of art is what gets registered and processed in the mind space of those who gets into contact with the art. Adam’s impact on me is that he himself is a fluid work of art. His voice and his choice of music was the first to be imprinted in my core. Then his edgy fashion sense was like a manifestation of another side of his artistry. How he weaves magic with his make up is part of it. And now I look forward to seeing other phases of his art- like glimpses of his house . All other things , like his interviews , and other matters which may question his integrity and his view on society, does not matter much to me . I do not seek perfection from the man, only from his art. Somehow I can sense that his moral compass is set in the right direction. There may be times it will get deflected, but from what I have seen, Adam has the ability to step back from mistakes and right his course.

Jim & Lyndsay received that press release Friday. I hope other music web pages that don't know any better don't start reporting this for the Monday morning news cycle. |
