Back at ya!Following lynneville's instructions & still only getting 3 votes! :-/ Yikes - that Scotty SSB. I hadn't listened to him sing since part way thru S10 (stopped watching because of utter boredom). I hated his rendition.

The Single is still up on Amazon and Wallmart. I'm not sure that it would be RCA making a claim as it would be Adam's management or lawyer because clearly for this album to be out someone other than RCA must own the masters. If not it would have gotten shut down immediately. did anyone actually see any of the language from Amazon about why it was removed?

Oh, this is so much quicker ... why didn't I try this sooner? Thank you. This is not working for me. I am only getting 3 points per vote and the old way, I got 18 points per vote? What did I do wrong? You did nothing wrong ... Since I'm already at SuperFan Level 5 and can vote the maximum 500 times/day I don't care about earning more than 3 pts per vote. I vote the regular way and share on twitter the first time, then do it this way for the other 499 votes.

Just an OT update. I did mention that the Guardian UK music put out the bare bones of a web page for Adam a little while ago that I corresponded with. I heard nothing back so tried again: Hi, I did write a couple of times previously about data for this page, but got no reply either time."...............we currently have no biography for Adam Lambert. We hope to fill in the gaps on this page soon."There is a wealth of detailed information about Adam's progress, performing throughout his school years, touring Europe with 'Hair' moving on to LA clubs, Broadway and eventually using American Idol to break through into pop. If you would like links please ask. "This page has been automatically assembled and may not be entirely accurate. If you spot any problems with the page emailuserhelp@guardian.co.uk."The album list is seriously deficient. Unfortunately, it also contains a cd which is nothing more than an attempt to use Adam's AI fame to sell 5 year-old session recordings, not a Sony official release. Again, how do we get to amend this list?
This artist is so uniquely talented, that he deserves a fully populated web page. Personally, I'd sooner see it non-existent than half-hearted.
Please let me know how we can supply you with the information you lack? It's getting very close to the time when people in the UK will be looking for it.This time I got a reply that said "I apologise that you did not receive a reply, we not appear to have received your previous emails. I have forwarded your comments on to site editors. Feedback is appreciated and will be taken into account. If the editors have any questions, they will contact you directly. "If I should hear any more I suspect I will be badgering people here (4rmsrmyn, I'm looking at you ), to obtain info as concise, informative and true as we would wish to see it. Here's hoping; they are a very well-respected publication :D [ img] fingers-crossed smiley I thought we had ETA:just pinched from Gelly's post. I sooooo want to be able to contribute something to the cause :-/.
Happy to help in anyway I can, except for writing which I'm no good at. I try to stick to listing facts & links or quoting someone else, preferably Adam.

The current Idol winner singing the SSB at the World Series. (with a problem with the mic at the very beginning) And Season 8 runner-up singing the same song at a military base. Don't really need to comment, do I? cassie, I know I live in NY where country is not even played on the radio. But we were in our local pub and it was on TV. Three customers actually put their hands over their ears. On the other hand, most of the people at MJ's were saying how great it was. Saying he used so much mellisma(sp) and changed the melody, it was genius, blah blah blah. I guess my hearing is totally different from his fans. Plus, I know he's a nice kid and I wish him well, but he's hard to watch (funny faces, weird holding of the microphone, etc.) Don't know who the people at MJ's were talking about. I did not hear melisma, I heard terrible swooping up to many notes. That is a characteristic of country music, but Scotty does it to such an extreme it sounds like a parody. A melisma is a series of notes sung on one syllable of a word. Think Gregorian chant. Or, jazz improv. Or, Adam on this version of SSB at :57. THAT'S melisma. What Scotty did was just scoop a bunch of notes with a bucket. (No, not the formal musical term, but you get the picture.) Scotty also sang with no feeling for the words or the emotions in the song. Again, as opposed to Adam, who makes you FEEL the pride in that song. I am not a fan of country, admittedly, but, that was just BAAAD.

Stay stron Glamnana!!!
I have been contemplating this theory for awhile, now if I can just make it sound sensible in writong. Well here goes.
Season 8 of American Idol was the very 1st realty show I had ever watched so I didn't know what to expect. Ican't say that Adam had me at MAMA but I was certainly impressed. I loved Satisfaction bu by the time he sang Tracks Of My Tears I was totally hooked and was voting like I was Possessed. Since season 8 I have watched every talent competition to come on TV(much to the dismay of my husband) I have not gotten into these shows enough to vote except for Sasha. I have noticed that every contestant has some sappy story to tell and the judges eat these stories up. Looking back, I think Adam has had such a positve story to tell and that may have even been why he was not the judges first choice (Danny gocky anyone) But his vocals won out in the end. I just watched the X factor and was so put off by the ever so sappy back stories of each contestant that made it thru to the live shows. I thought there were some better vocalists but because they weren't homeless they didn't get thru. There was a young girl who played rugby and sang like an angel that did not get put thru to the live show. I just thought that was a shame. I am just so glad that Adam made it thru auditions inspite of his positive attitude. I hope these ramblings make some sense.

Don't really need to comment, do I? You can if you want to, but I will comment. ;D At the top we have a kid who is currently a senior in high school. Other than singing in his high school chorus and taking guitar lessons, he has zero formal training. His HS chorus teacher had no idea he could sing country music like he does. Scotty really was your type of winner that went from singing in the shower to singing on a stage. In the matter of a year, he went from singing in his chorus to singing the NA at the opening game of The World Series. Scotty has a traditional country voice, and he is a deep baritone. He pretty much has a pitch perfect voice and he has a natural talent for storytelling. (This is very important in country music and unusual to find in a young male.) The kid is very talented and has years to learn and grow. At the bottom, we have a 27 year old man. By the time Adam sang this NA, he had been involved in some type of vocal lessons or performances on stage for over 15 years. He had traveled the world singing in touring shows and he had roles in Broadway touring shows. Adam came into AI with a great amount of singing experience and a lot of confidence. He had been on a stage for 15 years by the time he hit the AI stage. Adam had years of classical vocal lessons. He had worked with Music Directors and recorded music in studios. Adam's NA was absolutely beautiful. I prefer his voice over Scotty's, but Scotty has a good voice for a young kid who is new to all of this. I thought Scotty did a great job.
