oh nvm, I talked to soon haha yfrog.com/obw55spBut wouldn't it be funny if he got nominated in a strong category, basically for a "remake" of an album that is like 2 years old? Doubt it, but I would love for him to get nominated just the same.

Just want to say I'm really happy today because one of the doctors I work for came up to me today and said did you know Adam Lambert has a new album coming out. Of course I said yes I know, then she said I read a great article about him in the Advocate. Well, then we talked about him a little more but before she left I asked her for the mag because I don't subscribe. So I'll get my copy after all!!!!

If I remember correctly from the last go-round, the submitted names list was REALLY long and comprehensive, lol. I remember thinking, geez, the labels submit just about everyone on their roster. Wasn't even Kris Allen submitted for something? There were something like 400 submissions last year. Labels pretty much throw everything into the mix and see what sticks. When actual nominations come out and Adam is included that will be cause to get excited.

Well, in order to even have a chance at being nominated, you have to be submitted, so being submitted is first step and without it, we'd have nothing.
His vocal performance in Glam Nation Live is stunning (coupled with the fact that it is live, so the "production hocus pocus" bias is taken out of it), so a nom there would be awesome – either place would be awesome. He only needs a nomination to be 2XGNAFL and also, the Grammys will likely be around the time of his album promo, so all the more to talk about. The nomination was incredible last time and winning or not, was ... whatever.
Not getting hopes up, but he couldn't even be considered had he not been submitted, so at least he can be considered.

I have never noticed a nasal-y tone to Adam's speaking voice. As someone up thread said, when he is talking in the morning, before all the crud has drained out of his sinuses, he sounds a little different. Maybe that is what you are hearing?
Adam does not talk in his head voice. That would be very high and unnatural. However, his head and sinuses have a great deal of resonance due to basic physiology, and that is probably enhanced a bit from using it in his singing regularly. So, I think his speaking voice has more timbre and a wider range of harmonics than many other people.
Tonsils and vocal timbre? If they were enlarged and swollen they could alter the tone or timbre of the voice because they would change the resonance in the mouth. (However, Adam routinely aims the tone into the front of his face, or mask, not at the back of his mouth and throat, so I don't know how much even swollen tonsils would alter his basic tone.) But the tonsils are nowhere near the vocal cords, so removing them would not affect the cords.
