Ah! ok, thank you, I missed it. I've never understood the reason for giving certain parts of the world your second single and not the US. This is where he needs to really push his music. Why different releases for the US. Maybe a more consistent release everywhere would push it to the top.

I'm sure he'll sing SP on Strictly regardless of the fact that CTY is his next single. SP is perfect for a Strictly performance. Glad that it's moving up the HAC chart. CTY has really caught the attention of listeners. It's a real beauty. I haven't a clue why singles are singing only in certain countries and not others. I think the US would take to CTY just fine. Adam hasn't had a romantic ballad in a while. Oh well. Go figure.

Ghosttown's huge success in the Netherlands did not make it an equivalent success in the US or even the UK. Streaming, purchasing, and radio factors vary from country to country. To me, the strategy that Adam and his people are currently pursuing appears nimble and he is getting good promo everywhere. I am actually enjoying the promo this time around, it seems very well paced, thoughtful, and professional. Not too much down time except when he was ill.

If it is not on the radio in those places then it makes sense to move on to another. He needs something out there to promote and keep Velvet alive. I just hope Sp does well enough in the US to give CTY a chance. I'm so confused about everything, lol. But he is getting a lot of promotion abroad and in the US so I hope something sticks. SP moved up to #46 on HAC (US) so hopefully that will continue to move up. 52 40 Up this week AMERICAN AUTHORS Bring It On Home 219 128 91 0.574 36 41 LAUREN DAIGLE Rescue 207 331 -124 0.301 47 42 Up this week LUKAS GRAHAM Lie 200 161 39 0.314 49 43 Up this week WALK OFF THE EARTH I'll Be There 165 146 19 0.238 37 44 FOR KING & COUNTRY God Only Knows 164 305 -141 0.698 45 45 JOHN MAYER Carry Me Away 151 165 -14 1.031 54 46 Up this week ADAM LAMBERT Superpower 146 126 20 0.357

We have seen in the past that oftentimes non-US markets move through singles faster, hence an interim single released or just more singles being promoted. IIRC, OZ and NZ were like that. Or they are just testing the waters while they are letting SP do it’s thing in the US on Hac.
