SP isn't on his list, but have they been playing SP? It's all a blur, but I thought Adam went there for an interview recently.. Some have requested SP in the replies.

Ah! ok, thank you, I missed it. I've never understood the reason for giving certain parts of the world your second single and not the US. This is where he needs to really push his music. Why different releases for the US. Maybe a more consistent release everywhere would push it to the top. Songs move on radio at different paces in different markets. In the US Adam's songs have traditionally moved up slowly so if they switch to a new single here in the US they would in essence be sabotaging Superpower. UNLESS they chose to push CTY only to AC stations and continued pushing SP on HAC but that is a very unlikely strategy for the US since HAC songs often also end up on AC especially if they climb high on the charts. It is more likely that in the US they will stay with Superpower until ready for a single off Velvet Side B in the new year. Also US radio especially HAC stations pretty much loose the last 2 weeks of DEC to Christmas music and some stations do more than that.
Most songs will tend to be stuck at wherever they are pretty much through the month of DEC and not start climbing again until JAN. For instance WWFM was released to radio on Nov 18th, 2009 and did not peak on radio until April/May of 2010.

TY, Dancy, for the reminder to be patient with radio! and I agree re SP and hope they don’t switch the single here any time soon. ...may be because I find SP much more appealing from the “message “ POV than any other song...

Thanks for reminding us that WWFM didn't become a hit over night. I didn't even realize back then how long it took to take off.
