Hmmm, I've never been to Pittsburgh 🤔 I went when Adam sang at Pittsburg Pride. Was fun!

Here is my "Celebrity Story" --kind of. It doesn't involve an actual encounter personally, although it is a story, nonetheless, and one that has been retold throughout the decades of our marriage, DH and I were married for almost a year and we were still living in New York;he was a grad student, driving his cab part-time in NYC and I was still teaching in Brooklyn. I came home from work to find him tired and haggard after his long day driving around the city. The first thing he said to me when I walked in the door,"You will never guess who I picked up in my cab today?" Without skipping a beat,{I asked him no questions} I answered,"Ethel Kennedy?" {the widow of Robert Kennedy.} Out of a city of 8 million people, with a considerable percentage of celebrities,he stood there, staring at me -totally flabbergasted! Me? I don't think too much about it-except when DH decides to tell the story to someone new...

My Celebrity encounters:
1. I went to Las Vegas with a couple girl friends when we were 21 years old. The day after we arrived, we headed out of our hotel at 6:00 am and walked all the way down the strip from our hotel in downtown Las Vegas to the Flamingo hotel; sightseeing and playing slots at numerous casino's along the way. By 2:00 a.m., our feet were aching and we were hungry. We found a cafe in the hotel and sat down and just before we ordered our food, Bruce Jenner came walking in with a couple other gentlemen and they walked right toward our table. We were the only ones in the restaurant. He smiled at us and we asked for his autograph. The only piece of paper I could find was my business card so he signed the back of it and I still have it! For me, it was pretty exciting because I had just watched him win the decathlon in the Olympics a couple months prior to that.
2. Adam is my only other celebrity encounter. He held my hand steady while I was reaching over someone's shoulder to sign my CD. This was following the Glam Nation performance in Phoenix. He was very patient and kind to go down the entire line of people to sign their stuff.
