Melisende You have touched on something that has often bothered me. (disclaimer: not telling anyone how to be a fan - just my thoughts on a Christmas gift for Adam) I am as guilty as anyone of wanting videos of Adam’s performances but I have seen at first hand how much he dislikes having people at the front viewing him through a lens. At one solo concert in a smallish venue, far from the US, he completely lost his temper with women who were filming every move from the front rows - this time he really lost it. Asked why they did it? Why did they go to a live show? (I was some way back but could see his exasperation mounting) He left one woman in tears - only for her to be back doing the same thing at the next show! Imho there are better ways to show love and appreciation to Adam - Perhaps by going to his solo shows and not using a camera if people are in eye sight. Let him look out at these smaller venues and see real faces smiling back at him. It’s his thing....to make eye contact...everyone feels he has looked at them and connected...Perhaps a Happy Holidays gift for Adam at El Rey?Probably impossible and just a suggestion.....(and people can always film discreetly from further back... ....please ) edit: just seen seoulmate’s great ‘designated video seat’ idea....if only!

Seeing the Impeachment/Pelosi insta stories from Adam made me hope he's aware of the " The Nancy Pelosi Way" book her daughter, Christine, wrote. A very good book.Think he'd love it.

I totally get what you're saying and suggesting, SophieB , and I am happy to hand Adam that holiday gift . Thankfully, I am one of those fans who totally live in the moment and don't take pictures or videos - I prefer taking it all in without even blinking haha. But I am somewhat guilty too as I tend to expect someone else to document what's happening, and I too tend to check for good videos after a performance. Not sure where to draw the line, as I think it can get quite obsessive. I can imagine Adam's frustration when looking at a sea of phones in an intimate venue. Fingers crossed for some "common sense" from concert goers at the El Rey.

I think it's the way things are and I expect that Adam loves that we all follow him and watch the video's. Catch 22 for me. I don't go to 5 and 6 concerts, generally I get to 1 or 2 during a tour so much appreciate the video's.

I can't stop watching this video from a few days ago at Foxwoods. Adam is singing his bluesy Christmas song in a gorgeous blue suit in blue lights and there are closeups! This is the part from 0:31-1:27 that I love. He smiles before he sings, then he steps back, closes his eyes and BELTS out the first words. OMG, his voice has never sounded better this past week! Thanks TALC for capturing the moment! P.S. I shared this video on fb and this song has both my daughter and brother in awe! It took a while, but I think Adam finally got them Haha. www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSpCiJOd0kQ

I enjoy the videos too. What i ask myself is...i don't think anybody expects a concert not to be filmed anymore but does almost every person have to have their own recording?! For me THAT makes the difference.
Take a few pics and/or a few snippets to post on social media and have that be it. You'll find the rest online. If only ten percent of a venue recorded there'd still be a good chance the whole Show is up.

For everyone else I think it's like a meet and greet photo or a selfie with Adam. It's an I Was Here moment. I've never published my GlamNation audio recording and I probably should have because I think it was a concert that we don't have a recording of. But it's mine, from where I was sitting etc and that's an emotional attachment that I can see other concert goers feeling too.

They just used Adam’s song „Underneath“ on the German show „Queen of Drags“ . It’s the equivalent to the American Drag Race. One of the Queens performed/ was lipsyncing to it. It was good, and both Bill Kaulitz and Conchita Wurst loved the performance and the voice. Unfortunately nobody mentioned Adam’s name. Now I‘m wondering, if they even knew the original singer of that song... maybe not.
