Come on, WE NEED those RECORDINGS! And the more the better, so imo it is quite disingenuous to wish for people not to use their cameras. that’s how Adam has the fans who’s been around for 10 years... record away, people! he’ll survive!
Huge THANK YOU to everyone who records and posts for all of us to enjoy!

These recordings are mine and hundreds of other people's lifeline to Adam's solo concerts and his concerts with Queen. Please keep recording you fabulous people who take the time to record and post those incredible videos for all of us to enjoy.

Huge THANK YOU to everyone who records and posts for all of us to enjoy! A number of us today have commented on the people near the front - where Adam can see them and where he very much likes to make eye contact in these small venues - creating a significant barrier of camera lenses. I have no doubt Adam finds it tedious sometimes - there is enough historical and anecdotal evidence of that... I had a friend at the Bowery show who wrote to me immediately afterwards saying that she had been near the stage and put away her phone when she got the strong feeling he wasn’t happy. He made lots of happy eye contact with her after that. I think Melisende later confirmed the same impression. I see nothing disingenuous in suggesting that people use judgement in filming however much they enjoy videos. There aren’t many of these small venue things....I was suggesting people cut him some slack when there’s plenty of opportunity to film less intimate shows or from further back or to film less at the front... Just seems to me to be no harm in thinking what might be nice for Adam for a change, rather than what we feel entitled to.

I just wanted to add to the above review that there were a few times that I was trying to film an entire song but always put my phone down after a minute because Adam very deliberately looked at the people in the front row who were filming - including me. I wasn't the only one who noticed this because I spoke to others beside me who said the same thing. I'm so grateful that people are there filming the set but in the front rows Adam does notice you doing it, and he looks at you - and I felt so guilty I put the phone down, LOL. I wonder if anyone else noticed this? Also, his audience interaction has improved vastly over the early days where we'd usually just get a "Are you having fun?". He just seems overall so comfortable on stage - more than ever before. Just bringing this forward for reference. So glad you picked up on this Melisende and used your good judgement.
How many here would have felt entitled to keep on filming because we NEED as many videos as possible?

It's true. All those fan videos are a life-line for millions of fans. They do have an impact on giving an artist wide exposure to tons of people who would never see them at all otherwise. Fan vids are a necessary evil, IMO. I know it can be annoying, both to other fans at the venue and to the artist himself. Common sense should prevail. The front rows, usually pricier seats, should be less cluttered with cell phones raised on high. But I don't think that will happen, TBH.
Adam and other artists know that those vids capture the attention of MANY people beyond the venue. They get it, but they are understandably annoyed by it at times. I don't know what the solution is. I generally do NOT record a live show on my phone, not even still pictures. But I always love the fan vids even if I've actually been to the show myself. It's a problem without a solution, I guess, even if the venue prohibits taking vids. Happens anyway. And it does benefit the artist.
