Catz, I am appalled by your story. I wish you could move. Failing that I wish I could send you some Texas style help: For some reason, I really thought we would get an announcement/update from Adam about the single yesterday.

In that pic, I think it is Alisan and her man on the left, but who could be on the right?

OK, for the first time in my life I think I'm gonna disagree with Q3 :-) Heh, I do, too. I see NO downside to Adam singing a song with Queen as part of a tribute. None, nada, zip, zilch, and so on. They are as Royal as a SuperGroup can be, and to appear on stage with them would be an honor this time just as much as it was an honor the first time. No argument could be made in this Universe or any other that would convince me otherwise. Thanks for seeing what I forgot to say! Yes, IMO, there is absolutely no downside to Adam performing in a tribute to Queen. None. On the contrary, it would be nothing but good. I rarely get excited or over invested in rumours...but I can't think of any other logical reason for Adam to tweet anything about the EMAs. (Oh, and Shoshana Stone just makes my skin crawl. ugh.)

I think you who say it will only be a video piece are probably right. He may have just filmed it yesterday which is why he tweeted at that time. He told us once before to watch something and it was just a video clip. (Can't remember the awards, but he hummed at he camera while putting on his makeup) (this is me trying not to get my hopes up too high).
It would be very apropos for him to be part of a Queen tribute in any capacity for many reasons, the least of which is...

lynnevilleAlisan is still in France she's tweeting all the time about it, so it's not her. I have no idea who these people are.

I missed the discussion last night, but I totally agree with this too. Like really, what is he going to say if they invited him, "Oh, no, sorry, I have my own music to promote ... " That would NOT come of well at all. Also, Tigerlily's examples of Bruno doing the Amy Winehouse tribute and the Aretha tribute are perfect examples – those things are buzz creators and hopefully people in the UK would say Who is THAT?? Yowza! If he could debut his single, that would be awesome, but since it hasn't even been announced yet, hard to imagine that happening. I also agree with Tigerlily's post about teens knowing classic rock. My nephews are all about Pink Floyd (was the theme of the just-turned-20-y-o's bday party a few weeks ago), Queen and Journey. In addition to "Glee," what about Rock Band? They and all their friends have been playing this for two years now and the primary bands are NOT recent pop artists, they are classic rock. They know these songs inside, outside and upside-down. And yeah, Shoshanna ... so not cool. It was really rude, patronizing and unnecessary.
