Thank you ladies! Double thank you, ladies! Sauli had a great Halloween weekend. I love that he posted pictures and that he was suprrised that his declaration of love was a surprise! I guess, he thinks, it should have been obvious to all, for some time! Sad that Adam did not buy a pumpkin and they did not carve one together! "Maybe next year!" <<< Sauli said that! Woo-Hoo!!

lynnevilleAlisan is still in France she's tweeting all the time about it, so it's not her. I have no idea who these people are. Ha! Thanks, could've sworn it was her! Thanks for the translation of Sauli's blog, ladies! I have never seen a house decorated quite like that for Halloween. Around here we go spooky with graveyards and spider webs and such. All those lights would kill the mood. I love the new Halloween pics! I hope Sauli keeps up with the blogs and tutkas for a long, long time!

I missed the discussion last night, but I totally agree with this too. Like really, what is he going to say if they invited him, "Oh, no, sorry, I have my own music to promote ... " That would NOT come of well at all. Also, Tigerlily's examples of Bruno doing the Amy Winehouse tribute and the Aretha tribute are perfect examples – those things are buzz creators and hopefully people in the UK would say Who is THAT?? Yowza! If he could debut his single, that would be awesome, but since it hasn't even been announced yet, hard to imagine that happening. I also agree with Tigerlily's post about teens knowing classic rock. My nephews are all about Pink Floyd (was the theme of the just-turned-20-y-o's bday party a few weeks ago), Queen and Journey. In addition to "Glee," what about Rock Band? They and all their friends have been playing this for two years now and the primary bands are NOT recent pop artists, they are classic rock. They know these songs inside, outside and upside-down. And yeah, Shoshanna ... so not cool. It was really rude, patronizing and unnecessary. ^^^^ Yes! Agree with all you ladies!^^^^^ However, unless we find Adam at the airport today or tomorrow, I think it may be a taped Thank You for an award he wins, or a taped Thank You to Queen for being so awesome! If by some miracle he is performing with Queen, I would say it is the direct result of a request by Brian May. I think Brian was floored by Adam, back in 2009!

Are the VMAs and the EMAs the same thing? Or is this just a typo on Shoshanna's part?
I'm with those hoping for a performance with Queen. I'm not holding my breath, but I can't imagine how it wouldn't be great publicity for Adam. Freddie Mercury is legendary for having one of the best voices in rock. IMHO, Adam is even better. I doubt anyone would think, "Oh, he's just a throwback because he's performing at a Queen tribute." Instead they'd think, "Man! That guy can sing his ass off! I'm going to buy his music!" A Freddie Mercury song would be an amazing showcase for his voice and anyone would have to be impressed when he proves he's up to the task.

mys*&@^#r the only reason I have some hopes is because of Brian May. As you said he was floored by Adam. If he wants some really good singers to sing with them on the tribute I'm sure he would ask Adam to sing. Here's what he said when he listened to TFM www.aceshowbiz.com/news/view/00027721.htmlQueen's guitarist Brian May who got the privilege to hear the song back in August said, "It's truly sensational. In fact it's so obviously a number one smash, any bookie would be mad to take bets on it. .. . Adam's voice reaches out with sensitivity, depth, maturity, and awesome range and power which will make jaws drop all around the world. It's an awesome performance." *Crosses fingers*

Well, I don't see a nomination for Adam anywhere here, so that's out. Could this be a possibility? A newer award also includes Biggest Fan Award.Might this be why MTV wanted the biggest fans of Adam to e-mail them? We thought it was for the OMAS. But perhaps it was for this? ETA: Murly, no the VMAs are for videos. I think the EMAs are more like our AMAs except that MTV carries the European awards instead of ABC.

I wonder if they are going to do both a tribute with other artists and have Queen play? Would be awesome, but I don't know. Still confused and hoping for something, but getting soooo frustrated with the stonewalling. WHEN is it going to be over? :-[
