Hmm..well Runawaysu and I were kind of going over this theory on twitter, that if everyone knows that there is to be a Queen special tribute, and you have MTVEMA and Shoshanna talking about this huge performance, and all of these artists, Selena Gomez, David Guetta, Adam a saying that it's going to be a big surprise, and even Neil teasing that he knows what's going to happen, I'm wondering if it's something else that's going to be going on that's each in addition to the Queen tribute. Because I think that's hardly a surprise, besides who is going to sing with them, and I don't think that is as big as what all of these people in the know are teasing at. runawaysu susan Why are all the artist's excited for a big surprise at EMAs? How about a phantom performance my Freddie? You know one of those Halograms (sp) things.. where Freddie's appearance is projected..singing one of his songs "with" Adam... that would be a BIG surprise. Don't think you could find a bigger surprise than that..LOL LMAO! haha, yeah well other then that, what else would be a big surprise? |

She won't. Gaga has done many duets with HUGE names in the past couple of years. She is like Adam, in that she comes from a Theatre background, so she understands and appreciates teamwork. IF Adam is involved in the tribute, I definitely believe he will be getting more than a couple of lines, but he will probably be sharing the stage with others. Some fan's expectations have really taken off to a place where they are probably setting themselves up to be majorly disappointed. JMHO, I don't think fans have are "expecting" anything huge. Most of them are just verbalizing daydreams and having fun with it. I highly doubt that they will be disappointed with anythng Adam gets to do unless we are being totally punked and I doubt that because Adam would tell us if he wasn't performing. I agree, that's why I said it is fun to speculate and dream! Nothing wrong with that! That's also why I said some fans are letting their expectations get bigger and bigger. There is no doubt in my mind that Adam is performing and he and his friends are very excited about it! I won't be disappointed, and I most definitely don't think Adam is in any way punking us! I do worry, however, that some fans will be disappointed if Adam is part of a medly of singers. I also strongly suspect that this type of performance is the most likely scenario, and IMO, one that we should be thankful for!  |

It is fun to dream, the end. And all the buts and whys and ifs and who saids and everything else is all speculation as well. You can't it narrow down to what is really happening because NO ONE knows. We're wanking things and I for one will not die of depression if Adam doesn't get the finale spot with clouds parting and the voice of angels singing backup. That was me. I don't know- Deacon did not make an appearance when Queen was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but then that would have required a transatlantic flight. As he's quite the homebody now I fully understand why he would choose not to appear. This, however, is closer to home so would not require such extensive travel. I hope he does appear- he wrote some of my favorite Queen songs (You're My Best Friend and Spread Your Wings), and if you want to know how a great bass player really sounds, listen to any Queen track and bring the bass up to where you can follow it. His bass lines are every bit as interesting as any melody under which they are played. He was a genius bass player and every bit as essential a part of the band as anyone else. |
