On a happier note non related to douchebaggery... I know the likelihood of this happening is slim BUT I NEEED Adam to sing this song on Sunday with a full string orchestra...yeah it's kind of a downer but OMFG his voice on this...woah. Hmmm lemme make a playlist here LOL....Fuck I want it all!! MSA -- I pay you for work, I own it. Looks like this it legal Russian Roulette -- I can't imagine that Welsford can win. Seems like a vicious and desperate act to me. I'm kind of liking the idea that as long as this is pending in court, BFM sales are halted. RCA can drag this out in court for a very long time. Adam's album can be released long before this is settled. Welsford is screwed. ;D plus GNAFL is going to get tremendous amount of "free" publicity. Media picks up any negative crap in no time. and don't forget - EVERYTHING TURNS TO ADAM'S ADVANTAGE! so this fuckery will be a WIN for BB one way or another; just another proof that he is in big leagues now. I am going crazy trying to figure out how to get some time to watch EMA's - the RL situation is not conducive to making it happen at all for now  |

Related to the SLUG also known as Welsford -- there is NO chance that Adam was unaware Welsford would throw this Idol violation cherry bomb at Adam. I have not pulled out the Idol contract to reread but I am almost 100% sure that there is a provision where the producers can let anyone on the show the want and pick any outcome they want. Regarding the question about a Musical Services Agreement -- they are almost always for a specific performance or recording -- here is a sample: www.musiccontracts101.com/docs/sample/I have looked into this issue for almost a year and cannot figure out where the conflict with the Idol rules is. Unless Adam signed a very odd MSA, it would have been completed before he went on Idol. If it was not fully discharged, Adam would have taken care of getting a release before he went on Idol. There has been something odd about the whole Welsford deal since the start. Loads of Idols have pre-Idol albums. They get released, only a few die hard fans buy them, life goes on. Even the winners keep their crowns. Why is this so different? JMHO -- Adam (and his lawyers) will kill this. |

Mad Adam + Awards Show Performance =  YAY!!! I can't wait....... as long as he sings well.  : ;D I'm so on board with this thought!! I can watch the AMA performance NOW and enjoy the hell out of it, but thinking about watching Adam LIVE at this kind of high stakes/high visibility event is giving me traumatic flashbacks and making me want to cover my eyes and sneak a peek at ATOP afterwards before watching anything to make sure everything is allright! Might try to control my anxiety tho, because I'll be kicking myself if I miss watching something spectacular as it's happening. Seoulmate, love your new avi, lol. But adored your old one too -- both so appropriate for the ongoing Adam experience, haha. |

Mariep said it better than I could. This is exactly how I feel. Let it all play out. We can bitch all we want and call everybody names, and it won't make a bit of difference. I think the universe is on Adam's side and whatever happens is going to be good for Adam. Adam is blessed. It is his turn, and I am so excited for Sunday. Adam doesn't talk about the case, and I think we should take a lesson from him. I am sure the lawyers have told him what to expect. Let's put out positive thoughts on this little matter.
