Thank you for posting this video. Haven't seen it before. Adam is amazing. You can see how Brian also really likes him. He's hugging only Adam in the end of the performance. KA is like an outsider.  I have seen this video 500 times, and have a DVD with all Adam's performances which I watch a lot, so I tried to resist clicking to watch it again. I can't. I never tire of the AI8, or any other, Adam performances. By the way, KA really is a cutie. I didn't buy is album, probably won't buy the next, don't follow him, but he IS cute. |

Do you ever feel like there is a "Big Brother" living in your computer? Search for a recipe and all of a sudden you get a junk e-mail about recipes, etc. I just turned on my itunes and hit the random play thingy. I have thousands of songs on there. First song to come up - Rocket Man. Since I'm already OT, just listened to this. Can you imagine Adam singing it? I know, I know - old song, wrong style, etc. But it sure would be beautiful. Not to go all terribly OT, but if you have never watched "Who Is Harry Nilsson and Why Is Everyone Talking About Him", then RUN to watch it. It is on Netflix. He was SO like young Adam- a little ginger haired boy with amazing talent and a voice that stopped people in their tracks. Unfortunately Harry did not have the wonderful upbringing that Adam had and was not particularly well suited for the public spotlight. Everything he accomplished (and he has a massively successful career) was done without benefit of even ONE live performance- he didn't like doing it and so he did not. During his heyday he was "The Beatles favorite band" and figures largely in many of the songs we all know and love either as a writer or in production. A hugely talented man, and as I said reminded me a lot of Adam. One you didn't know he wrote/sang: Without You is one of my favorite songs. Il Divo redid it and the last 3 years and their voices just soared on this. Yes, indeed he was talented. Died so young. Adam's voice would put this song into a whole different dimension. |

Thanks for the Nilsson info Buder. I'll have to see if I can rent that movie or maybe find it at the library. I love stuff like that.
juniemoon, I really like Attaboy. You're right - great dinner or sitting in front of the fire music. The album has been added to my itunes wish list.

I had a trip down memory lane and re-watched the AI8 performances thanks to 4Ms wonderful thread. Giggled in delight throughout - it's been awhile. On a sidenote: The talent that year puts XFactor to shame. (IMHO).
