Somehow I am not devastated by the news of the delay. There is a silver lining- two, in fact: 1) No December freeze to interfere with his skyrocketing trajectory. 2) The hairstyle will have changed before he does his promo appearances. I so agree about the freeze!! And although I like the hair, I really prefer emo hair Adam. But I have no expectation that Adam will be back this album cycle. |

(Yes, I hate that hairstyle with a passion.) I am trying not to worry about the impact of the delay on our short-attention span style culture or on the timeliness of releasing dance pop tracks recorded in what will have been in dance pop time a long time ago. I am hoping that the delay with give DMG the time to orchestrate a well-planned roll out that will achieve for Adam the success he deserves and for which he's worked so hard. I feel so bad for Adam. For someone who is an admitted control freak to have his career and the release of his artistic expression pulled hither and yon by a greedy bottom feeder must be a nightmare. |
