Wasn't there a picture of Sauli in the past few weeks where he is dressed somewhat "tribal" -- it seems he was looking in a mirror and had leather and feathers on. Maybe this was a dress rehearsal for the tribal costume party on Friday. In any case, sounds like new pics of Adam -- DRESSED TRIBAL!

3. A Sam Sparro/Adam co-write, with Nile Rodgers on bass. This is a high tempo, funk song (based on the bopping in the no-sound video we saw). I would say Nile played lead guitar based on "The Hitmaker." Aha, awesome, I modified my post! Thanks!! Great ninja skills! |

Guys, as far as I can tell, not ALL THAT MUCH has changed here, unless I'm missing something (perhaps, Q3, you know something with your taunt tease guess about Feb/Apr?  )... Given the UK peeps talk of "January" and "early next year" it seems quite possible to me that the album release date hasn't changed and could still be as early as February, and they've only pushed the single back to the new year as well, now. Well, back when we were expecting a Feb/March album and a November single everyone was worrying about the big time gap between single release and album release--this just moves those two closer together. No biggie. And at least we have some new goodies to play with between now and then: Outlaws of Love, Queen Medley, even things like Cam's Dreamer. HOWEVER: gotta be honest, I see all these posts saying things like "you think we're upset, just imagine how Adam must feel" and "we have to be there for him in this difficult time" and all I can think is "yeah, yeah, yeah, POOOOR ADAM has HEARD THE FUCKING MUSIC grumble grumble no sympathy!!!) >:(  No, but seriously, when I saw his tweets before bed last night I thought Oh Nos and quickly hopped onto twitter to see his @ replies, and I've never seen a less whiny, more patient, encouraging, worry-free series of tweets. Fandom did good last night. And today, too. No wonder he fucking loves us.  eta: meant to say, too, that what lizziegs wrote a ways back made a lot of sense to me, too. |

wow, 12 pages! another delay... :-[ I predicted album drop in May, so I am going to stick to that. My (uneducated) thoughts on :" unforeseen logistics, legal annoyances " - I read this as issues related to world wide release in multiple markets, each one with specific logistics and legal details of PR, publishing, leasing and who knows what. Logically, I see no connection to the bottom feeder nonsense. As far as "being away for too long" - IMO - another 3 -4 months makes no difference. As with any artist we don't follow - they just pop up in the media , go thru the publicity rounds, get their nominations, show up at award shows and then go away again. Until the next time. Same thing with Adam. Perhaps he'll get to the point when he is constantly "present" ala Biebs or Gaga - but really- these are out there too much - like annoying flies...(sorry - quoting my kid's friends discussion). We have new 8 mins of Adam for now = goodness |

Only part way through the thread I'm reminding myself that 'all good things come to those who wait'. I don't worry about how these delays affect Adam's standing in the music biz because I can't do anything about when he chooses to release. And in general I don't worry about something that hasn't happened yet because it could be a waste of my energies. For all we know this delay will have no affect on his career. ETA and since I am away from home beginning at the end of March through the first part of May I have complete confidence that the album release will be during this time frame ;D ;D |
