Okay, FUNK is good. I exercise to Super Freak and Brickhouse on occasion. Definitely dance. Definitely sexy........ imagining dance choreography now.....imagining Sauli as part of the dance troupe.......costume change! Thought had crossed my mind. ;D ;D 8-) |

Only part way through the thread  I'm reminding myself that 'all good things come to those who wait'. I don't worry about how these delays affect Adam's standing in the music biz because I can't do anything about when he chooses to release. And in general I don't worry about something that hasn't happened yet because it could be a waste of my energies. For all we know this delay will have no affect on his career. ETA and since I am away from home beginning at the end of March through the first part of May I have complete confidence that the album release will be during this time frame ;D ;D LOL, could happen... Great avi, BTW. The man's a media magnet; from hair to clothes to tweets... So we'll get at least Majors & Minors, OUT 100 party, Adam's birthday, perhaps a photoshoot & comments from radio peeps when he goes back to NY to actually pick the single etc. In the meantime I would not mind if he'd do a show with Queen around Nov 24 as a tribute to Freddie... 8-) Perhaps some of the tracks previewed were written by Adam or at least co-written by him? In any case it's his music & vision, he must be extremely pleased with the UK reactions... So proud of him. :D |

Okay, one last thought before I push away from the keyboard........
I loved Adam's performance from the EMA's. The fan vids that are coming out seem to really showcase the atmosphere in the arena and the SOUND, OMG what I wouldn't give to have been in that audience. I am so thrilled that Adam got to front for them. It was a GREAT moment. Now, it's been done.
I hope the stall in the release isn't TPTB shifting their views on what they want Adam "to be" based on his Queen performance. I think what is so absolutely unique about Adam is that, yes, he can do Queen as well as anything else he chooses. He has that confidence, training and energy.
Queen has been done before and we are surrounded by pop. It sounds like he is attempting to find something different and new that will be electrifying. I hope he finds it and we are all thrilled.
Adam is about new and now -- not Queen. JMO.

I have no feeling for the single drop at all... my instinct it mute on this one. ...silver lining - more time for RL... as I fail to climb out of the hole on my own I can use any help from Adam... |
