Now here's a thing that really sticks in my craw about all this BFM crapola. This is from the court documents and look at the writing credit percentages on the BFM track. Before signing over the rights to this song, Monte would have had 75% writing credit and Adam just 25%. But hey, let's not use Monte's or CV's name cos that's not gonna make us bucketloads of money. The same with The Circle, the percentages are even less for Adam! Pisses.Me.Off!   |

I am seeing a lot of excitement in the UK entertainment media and Sunday Times and that is great, but part of them were already on board last time. Where is BBC - especially Radio 1? Still silence from that corner. Not much about EMA performance, not much about being invited to the listening party or if they were, then not much excitement from them. Was it not always the story, if you cannot get BBC on board you cannot win UK and UK is important for so many other countries, etc..... What is the impression of our UK folks? Would BBC not be the most powerful player in any such listening party? Well how do we know for sure they DIDN'T get a listening preview? I mean, would they be ones to tweet about it anyways? I mean w only know about these ppl who heard it because they tweeted it....sooo just bc BBC radio didn't tweet abt it doesn't mean it didn't happen or it won't happen. But who knows... |

And the BBC guy was waiting for him to arrive in Belfast, wasn't he? Like he was scheduled to go around with him. He could have been interviewing him then for something we have no idea about right now. And they did do the interview of Adam, Roger and Brian after the event. There was an entire press tent; we certainly haven't seen everything that was recorded. These print things in particular, we almost NEVER know about them in advance. If it wasn't for Mark whatzhisname's tweet from Out 100 cover shoot, we would have had NO idea about that until this week. If not for the RS slip yesterday, we'd only have an unproven hunch, based on his avi change. For the most part, we know very little!! I'm glad Shoshonna doesn't seem to believe in the 100 percent news blackout thing. She knows a few teases here and there go a long way towards building buzz and she's doing it very well atm, IMO. |
