Ok just wanna say that I am loving the idea of Adam maybe singing with Queen for the Olympics..long shot yeah, but after the EMA's anything is poss...R and B obvs love him so....yeah. I think they not only love his voice but the youthful energy he brought to the performance...as well as the balls out flamboyance and showmanship that Freddie had when he performed....Universe...let's make this happen Ooooooo I dunno. I'd LOVE that, but don't most Olympics use entertainers from their own countries?(maybe I'm wrong, but in Vancouver it was all about The Canadians)....Paul Rodgers would make more sense.

One of the things that really struck me about this performance was the command of the stage and the presence Adam had. I think the tour has really helped with his self confidence and presence. I know he has always had unbelievable stage presence, but this performance was beyond unbelievable. It was, to use Adam's most unfavorite word, EPIC!I kept thinking, this man needs to perform in arenas! Yes, and I'm sure he will! I wonder if he will prefer that after this taste of it, guess we will never see him in beautiful intimate theatres, ever again. Makes me a little sad....... But, hey we all knew this, which is why we all went to as many GNT's as we could!

mahaila--Sorry bb, the last thing I want for Adam is Broadway. I want albums and shit. Maybe a special perf singig with the Met Opera or something...but not a broadway show. I dunno if he would want that himself at this point...unless he has no other options. But I dont see that happening S'OK chunkey, must admit it would be awesome, but I don't see it happening, really not for at least 10 years at least, maybe never, who knows?

IMO Queen is a British band and that's good enough. It's their call who sings and (again IMO) immaterial as far as the singers nationality.

Does anyone have a fan-filmed YT handy that doesn't take a degree in computer tech to download or watch (or have most been taken down?). I have the televised version on the DVR, but I've only had the chance to listen to the vocals on a fan version once and now I don't know where the links are. I went to yesterday's thread and the one Q3 posted has already been nabbed by Viacom. :-/
What is my favorite part??? OMG, it's something different every time – both bows, I think, after "My smile still stays on" and to Brian with "my friend ..." Also the end notes of TSMGO. The thing that never ceases to amaze me about Adam and I know I've probably said it 2897272 times is how he PAYS SHIT OFF. He can build anticipation sooooo high with his treatment of a song to the point where you're thinking, "No way is this going to be as satisfying as he's built up to ..." Yet it IS. EVERY FREAKING TIME.
No matter how many times I listen to the same recordings or performances, I am STILL blown away by how satisfying his treatment of a song is.
I guess this is why I just didn't have anxiety about high expectations because with the exception of ONE incident (and there are many who will disagree with even that one), he has paid off every performance like it was a perfectly told story, with an intro, a build, the intensity of conflict (can he pay it off?), climax and very satisfying resolution.
LMAO, as I was playing with that analogy, actually, I think great sex is more applicable than story – I think we can all fill in THOSE blanks.

Normally, I would agree with that, durberville. But these were the European Music Awards and Brian and Roger asked Adam even though they've been working with Paul for years. And, the Olympic committee in charge of booking music would book "Queen." I don't think who the group's frontman is would have anything to do with the booking.

It really should be immaterial, because the Olympics are supposed to be about the world's athletes coming together, so why not the world's musical artists? Adam singing with Queen at the Olympics would be--IDEHTW. ("Husbands" fans know what I mean!)
