Does anyone have a fan-filmed YT handy that doesn't take a degree in computer tech to download or watch (or have most been taken down?). I have the televised version on the DVR, but I've only had the chance to listen to the vocals on a fan version once and now I don't know where the links are. I went to yesterday's thread and the one Q3 posted has already been nabbed by Viacom. :-/ What is my favorite part??? OMG, it's something different every time – both bows, I think, after "My smile still stays on" and to Brian with "my friend ..." Also the end notes of TSMGO. The thing that never ceases to amaze me about Adam and I know I've probably said it 2897272 times is how he PAYS SHIT OFF. He can build anticipation sooooo high with his treatment of a song to the point where you're thinking, "No way is this going to be as satisfying as he's built up to ..." Yet it IS. EVERY FREAKING TIME. No matter how many times I listen to the same recordings or performances, I am STILL blown away by how satisfying his treatment of a song is. I guess this is why I just didn't have anxiety about high expectations because with the exception of ONE incident (and there are many who will disagree with even that one), he has paid off every performance like it was a perfectly told story, with an intro, a build, the intensity of conflict (can he pay it off?), climax and very satisfying resolution. LMAO, as I was playing with that analogy, actually, I think great sex is more applicable than story – I think we can all fill in THOSE blanks. This is the only one I've got. www.tyras.se Adam Lambert & Queen- The Show must go on, EMA Belfas

My favorite part of the EMA performance--about halfway through TSMGO, I just sat back and put my hands to my face and thought, "He's killing it. He's absolutely killing it." I felt so proud. And I'll admit it--relieved that this wasn't going to be another situation like the AMAs where the vocals were not good enough to overcome the controversy. No controversy here (except among a few die-hard Mercury fans who apparently think it would be better to dig Freddie up and prop him against a board before they let another singer handle his songs), and the most amazing vocals I've ever heard from Adam--and we all know that that's saying something! I was so happy for Adam that I had tears in my eyes.

15 minutes ago I finished watching another re-run of the EMA's, and looking forward to another 2 (TWO!) tomorrow, and another one Saturday.

It IS like good sex. Foreplay, lead up to Climax, and then the after sex soothing cigarette ending... Even though I don't smoke anymore, but you know what I mean:-) I loved the whole performance and all the posters here have already highlighted my favorite parts and I underscore the bow in the first song and the walking backwards and the stellar vocals in general. And yes, I had tears in eyes and still do reading this thread today!

Ya, me too! : I had really been hiding my addiction well, up to that point! Please. I spent all of Saturday evening and Sunday morning screaming "IT'S ALL SO EXCITING!!!" at random moments like a madwoman with Tourette's. On Sunday while I was setting DVR's every damn where my poor husband peeked in and like a kid muttered ".... so if I wanted to watch a football game what TV could I use?" When he woke me up at 5am Monday morning to say goodbye I whispered "it was all so exciting" and cracked him up. He has baseball, I have Adam. He understands.
