I heard what you heard. Yes they will be "involved" at the Olympics, not the tribute band and NO the lead singer won't be Paul Rogers!! ....lookin' up! :D (sidenote: did those guys REALLY not know Adam's name? Ouch....guess they won't be clamoring to play his single...lol!) LOL.. but do we care? .. though it would be amazing if they play that Adam's clip from the EMA.. lol I did e-mail a link of the EMA performance to Paul...we'll see if I get a response. If I do, I'll ask him to play it on the air. Great idea adamme!!! |

They don't tend to follow stuff from pop culture like American Idol, and they sure wouldn't pay much attention to a CHR artist unless it was someone they couldn't possibly avoid, like Gaga. Roger's statement that stood out to me, "playing with Adam was easy". IMO when something falls together easily it is saying it felt right and natural. If something comes easy and natural you want to repeat it.
I can see Brian and Roger letting the tribute band tour and only do high profile one offs. Adam could certainly work that in.
I can not stop listening to TSMGO. Had it in my head all day.

I know that Adam wouldn't want to fill Freddie's shoes. To sing with Queen for one night was special to him, but i don't know..he may think more than a second if he was asked again. But who knows to sing at the olympics is hard to say No??

I also heard an interview with Roger Taylor this morning on Big 105.9 here in South Florida. They were asking about if Paul Rodgers would be singing with them for any upcoming gigs and Roger said no. Our DJ asked "who was that flamboyant kid from American Idol? Did anything happen with him?" Perfect timing right?? So Roger said Adam's name and let them know about the EMAs and how great Adam was!! I was so happy that he got a positive mention as I did not even think the EMAs were going to come up. The show is called the Paul and Young Ron Show and can be found at www.paulandyoungron.comThere is a podcast for it for the whole 8AM hour and is 40+ minutes long. Roger came on at the very end of the hour so I did not listen to make sure it was there. I can post a direct link if anyone wants it. I just checked it out. Not as much detail as the other radio show but it was good to get a mention and Roger again called him a phenomenal vocal talent. They are doing a lot of radio promo for the Queen Extravaganza stuff so it is good that Adam is also getting mentions on US radio even though he isn't involved in that particularly. I didn't hear the podcast, but a friend did and was just waiting for wise remarks about Adam. As was already said, they tend to be crude and very self-centered, always going for the cheap laugh. Morning radio isn't my thing, I think that's when they are on, so I won't have a personal opinion. |

Although they didn't know his name right off they thought he was a great fit for Queen and were complimentary. |

he had too much bronze again? (on the first three pictures). The make up artist on AI, was she Simon's fiance said he tends to wear too much bronze. |
