Sauli has now been captured on Adam's side for a few seconds in AMA's, plus some high profile red carpets and in a larger extent, in less high profile celebrity sites. I'm wondering what kind of face regognition he is starting to gain in USA? I'm thinking very, very small (Still). I won't know, as I'm a Fin, my view is all screwed  Everyone who needs to know who Sauli is, does. As hard as it is to believe, there are people who don't know who Adam is. If you don't listen to pop radio, don't watch entertainment news shows, and don't watch award shows, how would you know who Adam is, let alone who Sauli is. It used to bother me, but no more. It is their loss, and I feel the same about Sauli. He seems to be smart, funny, totally gorgeous, and makes Adam happy, so his notoriety doesn't matter. So true, Aspen! Yesterday a co-worker saw Adam's AMA pic on MSN's homepage (it was there all day - YAY!) and said she almost didn't recognize him because she only remembered him with his hair down, and hadn't seen him since AI. She knew nothing about the EMA performance, so I felt compelled to email it to her.  Really do believe all this will change with the release of Trespassing and all the accompanying promo. |

I have been stanning since Idol. Discovered the joys of shared ectasy through the internet after the Black and White performance. Posted a little here and there. Actually made a couple of entries on Planet Fierce, only the best fan site out there, IMHO. Had a bit of a blunder with twitter and was called out for it on PF, so basically went in to hiding.
I spend hours daily on Adamtopia, the new best fan site out there. I love the diverse opinions here and the minimal drama. Decided to become a member recently just in case i could not hold my thoughts in any more. guess today was the day.
I love adam lambert. It feels great to be validated by other intelligent and beautiful people.
Hanging here is often the UP in my day! Thanks to everyone here!

Re: the video on page 1 (Adam and Sauli leaving Rolling Stone After Party) Can anyone hear what Adam is saying to Sauli, when they go down the stairs? I hear only: “I knew you can” or something like that. : I've spent way too much time trying to figure out what Adam is saying. Just enough can be heard to peak my interest. So I would like to hear someone's ideas, too. |

I look at it as progress that a gay couple is described in the same terms as many heterosexual couples. It's not demeaning or meant as an insult to either one IMO. I see it as demeaning and an insult to both to insinuate that Adam is just casually "toying" around with Sauli. Much like a toy that will be tossed in the corner when Adam is finished playing with him. That IS demeaning and an insult in my eyes. :-/ I guess that's one way to look at it but I doubt the writer put as much thought into the turn of phrase as you have :-[ |
