So, regarding Adam's retweeting Claude about funk...do we think this means Better Than I Know Myself has been funkified? I didn't listen to the demo. I didn't want it in my head before I heard Adam's version....I'm weird I guess. But from what I saw discussed, this would be quite a departure, is that right? I figured it would be. I mean , as we all know, Adam has been working on this for so long to get it just right. I couldn't imagine him just taking a demo as is and recording it the same way. I am so excited to hear this song!! I hope he lets us hear a bit of it soon. I have no idea about whether Claude's tweet had anything to do with Adam and his single. The words are lyrics from the Parliament song, "Give Up The Funk (Tear The Roof Off The Sucker)": yeah, I was just wondering since Adam retweeted it. I know he said there will be funk on the album, so maybe it doesn't refer to BTIKM specifically. Do we know if they worked on more than one song together? |

I don't know how to embed. to embed, you have to first use the "reply" box or the "quote" box at the bottom right or top right bar surrounding the post. You will get a text box, with Add Tags: icons. highlight the YT link, then click the YT icon : Tube. Then you can click on Preview for your post, and it will show you what your post will look like, to make sure it worked, cause sometimes it doesn't. I know Sauli is a wee lad but toy boy - not so much. I bet Sauli is at least 5'8 ,I hate that toy boy expression ,such a put down... I come from a family of short men,dad 5'5 .Dad was also a full of fun,courageous & out there Aries.My mom an Aquarian.. good match. My impression of a boy toy is pretty but shallow, and many "boys" bring this label on themselves. Sauli, adorable as he is, has never given off that vibe to me. When I look back at him on BB, I am amazed at how much he has changed both physically and personality wise. Living life in the spotlight, Finland first then America, has matured him and, I think, given him self-confidence. My guess is the Lambert-Koskinen household is more of a democracy than a dictatorship. |
