Yea!! Thanks for the update, Lulu! Just one question - is this the DVD or is it just an audio CD? Is there a separate CD being sold as well as the DVD? ???

Confession:-) I am just as addicted to the wonderful people on this site as I am to stanning Adam! Even though I think there will not be too much Adam news happening for a while so I can step back and get real life stuff done - and say "I will not check Atop today" here I am - and every day so far. Even though I don't have time to post much I can't resist seeing not only what is going on in Adam land but what you are all talking about. So often I am laughing at the computer over what someone says, or get tears in my eyes over the depth of thought and passion shared by this community. This is an especially wonderful time because it is hard to believe it has been a year since I broke out of my shell and traveled to Fantasy Springs on my own and met so many wonderful fans. And like all of you here, the journey is so much fun. YOUAREBETTERER and FLASHUS Happy Birthday and WELCOME to all the new members. ETA: and yesterday someone posted this link roccosrevolution.wordpress.com/2011/02/25/adam-lambert-captivates-rocco-for-4-minutes-and-32-seconds/#comment-9773 which I wanted to bring over. It is a great read and the comments are also fantastic. It amuses me in a good way how fans took the oportunity to expand on Rocco's article and share videos with him - I assume Rocco is a male? Anyway, I spent more that two hours reading the comments and clicking on the video links in those comments. Thought it was worth others looking at if they didn't see it yesterday. Sounds like we may have a new convert in the making 8-)

I think people also see colors differently, so why not hear differently as well. I used to work with graphic designers a lot and was often stunned at the names they would call some colors. For example, something that was clearly in the pink family to me, a designer would call orange. I couldn't see orange to save my life. And for some reason -- the Glamnation Live Sleepwalker video seems to be crossing over to some non-Adam fans -- including some rock-loving men -- is a very powerful way. Great points, Holst and Q3. Sleepwalker is definitely my son's favorite song on FYE.

Yea!! Thanks for the update, Lulu! Just one question - is this the DVD or is it just an audio CD? Is there a separate CD being sold as well as the DVD? ??? That is the CD+DVD. There are two versions......plus the AO.com exclusive version: US Glamnation CD+DVD * Audio CD (March 22, 2011) * Original Release Date: 2011 * Number of Discs: 2 * Label: RCA * ASIN: B004MRX8D8 Canada Glamnation CD+DVD * Format: NTSC * Language: English * Number of discs: 2 * Studio: Sony Music Canada Inc. * DVD Release Date: Mar 22 2011 * Average Customer Review: Be the first to review this item * ASIN: B004MRX8D8 * Amazon Bestsellers Rank: #52 in DVD (See Top 100 in DVD) o #15 in Music > Pop Why is Canada so much less? It is not the exchange rate because the two currencies are almost at parity? I have no clue. Usually Canadians pay more so maybe it is karma?

Hi everyone! I've been wanting to share this story, and my squeeing about it, for the past few days.
So I get an email from a friend, saying "my friend Pam who lives in Seattle is a songwriter for Adam Lambert."
W-wa-WUT?????? First, WHY is this the first time you're telling me this? Second, aaaahhhhhh I want to meet Adam! Ok, so I did once, but nevertheless. Third, last album or this one? Is he working on Adam #2?
Well, her name is Pam Miller, and I'm told she "likes him a lot" (of course!), she's working with on something now, she was at the Grammys, and she met Adam through Simon.
I was thinking that one of the many experts might know more about this? Tried google but couldn't come up with anything.
I'm not sure why, but I definitely flailed over this one!

Irish1139 said: Actually, a music major would be on my side! They would say that except for a similar note progression in the beginning, the two songs are NOT similar. A music major would immediately point out that one is in a haunting minor key and one is in a major key, giving them very different sounds/emotions. So, your observation, even if you are not a music major, is accurate. Since there is not much news in Adamland today, here is a little bit of musical theater trivia. In Music Man, (tie-in to Adam--- I think he did appear in that musical) there are two songs with the same melody and harmony: 76 Trombones and Goodnight, My Someone. One is sung by the bombastic con man and the other is sung by the spinster librarian dreaming of her perfect mate. But, the arrangements of the tune were so different, and sung so differently, that most people watching the show never realized what the composer had done (intentionally). Ironically, he even blatantly pointed it out in a duet, and the listeners didn't tumble. Here is his "mash up" of the two songs ---50 years before we did mash ups. www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNG5t3qrldwIDK, my brother who happens to not be anywhere even remotely close to being a music major etc. when he heard Broken Open, the first words that came out of his mouth was, "Oh he's going for the Mad World sound" I think that there's something distinctly similar between them, even if they don't sound exactly alike. I think what's similar about them is that they both represent Adam's sweet, soft vocals as opposed to his rock vocals. But you could say the same about Tracks of My Tears. Adam can sing in so many different styles, and the different styles can be grouped together, but it doesn't mean that the songs themselves sound alike.
