I am now regrouping, for the very non-techies, such as myself, posting a pic is a major accomplishment! After a brief rest, I am in search of new Adam pics, think I will ever find one that has not been discovered? Back after power nap!  |

Nica!!!! Thanks for bringing that over. This is awesome!!! Folks, this ranking is done by mainly guys who are SERIOUSLY into rock vocals, and distain pop, fluff, and media hype. They will debate for days about the merits of two obscure singers in order to determine if they should be 52 and 53, or vice versa. They consider rock singers since the 60s. (Their #2 singer, Wilson, is 60s and 70s I think). For Adam to top this list is significant, not as a media source or anything --- they are a forum just like we are. But, they have great cred. And, most are not Adam FANS. They do not care about what he wears, what he looks like, who he is dating, or what he said in any interview (except about singing and recordings). Try to post something like that on their forum and you get slapped down hard. This list is only about pure vocal technique in rock singers. Glad to see them finally, if a bit reluctantly, acknowledge Adam's abilities to the fullest. Tho' I was happy he was always included in the top 5. You guys had me all excited, but they haven't changed Page 1 on the tech thread, yet. digitaldreamdoor.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=185yes, thay have not, and I am not sure they can because they were saying (in the thread) that lefty - the person who created the thread (former avi name ikon) has not been around for a long time and they think that he left DDD. Also, they keep revisiting the standings. It did look though that the top two spots are "locked" for Adam and Wilson. I have to say that reading through all the arguments was very interesting, especially following various YT examples. Just to echo what Adam said at the summit about EVERYTHING ending up on YT: one of Adam detractors used the YT of the performance at that FL private Halloween gig as an example of Adam not always being on pitch. Which was "true" and "not true" - and some one else pointed out that Adam could not hear the music... so, it is amazing how one obscure YT can be used against the whole huge body of work. They also used one of the songs from Take One as an example of superb sustained baritone range and were very complimentary of the quality of Adam's low register singing. It is interesting how every several pages the conversation inevitably goes back to Adam. Also, if you visit the forum - check out the number of views on the "Adam Lambert" thread - it is quite impressive :D |

I've been posting pics that I took at Costa Mesa in the photo thread. I wanted to get caught up so hit the 50 Most Recent Posts... talk about stream of consciousness. Seoulmate right blah blah blah in giant letters, gaga pics, etc. Figured out interspersed with the news was practice thread posts ;D

Gaga, eggs, meat, etc. Figured a sausage would, um, suit Adam.  Or maybe I was just hungry? Had dinner now and am back on my best behavior, promise! |

I am working a project and reading some academic white papers -- hot Saturday night ZZZZZZZZZZZZ -- But I just can across this.... Remind you of anyone we know?????
