well done Q3 - my hat is off - your cooking abilities are awesome! (I admire anyone who cooks - I have zero ability and patience there...) skylar - very interesting idea for the "reaction threads" - looking forward to reading the results! ;D I would love to add the "straight women" thread as well - only because it is interesting to see what is perceived as a "turn on". I know we've had many a discussion here or there, but it was never in one place... This pic was going around on Twitter last night and I don't remember ever seeing it before. Does anybody know where it's from? I don't recall this picture as well. Neither the little skull pendant. YAY!to the poncho - love it! Oh, and the JAW LINE!!!!! ded... Went to check the e-bay auction - look at the overall bidding amounts ;D sorted by the high-to-low bid - no surprise of course 8 days to go... (I wish I could afford to participate, especially for a great cause...) www.ebay.co.uk/sch/loosenupauction/m.html?_trkparms=65%253A12%257C66%253A1%257C39%253A1%257C72%253A5698&rt=nc&_ipg=25&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14&_sop=16&_sc=1Do we think they will ever retire Adam from #FF eligibility? Like put him in the #FF Hall of Fame or something? I know that Adam was #1 for several weeks (or months?) now. My question is - shouldn't this somehow translate in increased follow growth rate? Or is it just the rehashing among fans? I guess my real question is - what is the real, tangible value of being #1 on #FF? Is Adam's visibility somehow increased?

Do we think they will ever retire Adam from #FF eligibility? Like put him in the #FF Hall of Fame or something? I still haven't gotten over them "retiring" WWFM and IIHY from the VH1 Top 20 before they reached their VH1 expiration date!!!! I know! And one of them, probably WWFM, was only one week away! :-/ But, otherwise, VH1 has been very good to Adam.

Just got another email from Amazon. Subject line: "Adam Lambert's New Album". So, they are still at it. Should I report this to someone in Adam's camp? Forward it to..... who?
Also, do any of you know how to respond directly to Amazon about this deceptive advertising?
Or, maybe I should just chill. Clicking on the link in the email took me to the page for the MP3 version of BFM, and, with all the promotion, it has soared all the way to #731 in MP3 albums.

I'm still all.... over Q3's wonderful dinner party menu! My dear late MIL made fantastic Beef Braciole and I think of her whenever I see or eat it. And after giving me gastronomic pleasure I have to apologize to Q3 for my avi. I know she HATES the hat. : It's temporary. Like Adam I like to change my look frequently.

Nica, I don't know. It's hard to say what kind of impact (if any) these things have, but it only takes a second to do a #FF tweet, so what can it hurt? I'd like to think that market and media trackers might take a look at these rankings – like they do Google searches, site hits, etc. and take it into account as indicating the engagement of his fanbase and followers. Maybe it's just planting a seed, but what the heck, it's easy enough to do and perhaps the real impact won't be realized for several months. LOL, it looks like Perez is being nice again? *whiplash* cocoperez.com/2011-11-26-adam-lambert-on-his-style-evolution/?from=PH

Completely OT, but I just heard an interview with Doris Day on NPR. She is releasing her first studio album in 17 years in December. The proceeds from the album will go to her animal protection charity. Sometimes when you don't hear about an older celebrity for awhile, you assume they might not be doing too well, but Ms. Day sounds amazing, both in the interview and the clips from her album. This woman is 87 years old! Here is the interview: Doris Day on NPR
