The guy with him looks kinda like Ben Campbell to me but I'm not sure. Ben was the one sitting with Adam at Alisan's show when Adam threw the boot at her - Hotel Cafe? Ben was also at his NYE party last year. He had a mustache that looked fake and was in a pic with Adam that night.

Not sure if Adam ever dated Ben or not. Ben is friends with Brad, Nick Sweet, Parker Torres, Patty Mac, etc - that old group that Adam used to hang with (and probable still does).

Completely OT, but I just heard an interview with Doris Day on NPR. She is releasing her first studio album in 17 years in December. The proceeds from the album will go to her animal protection charity. Sometimes when you don't hear about an older celebrity for awhile, you assume they might not be doing too well, but Ms. Day sounds amazing, both in the interview and the clips from her album. This woman is 87 years old! Here is the interview: Doris Day on NPRWow! That woman is amazing! I feel terrible for thinking she had died. :-[ I just love this interview! It brings back so many memories from my childhood. Her movies were some of my favorites, specially the ones with Rock Hudson, may he rest in peace.

I think you're right. I was in the chair right across from Ben at Hotel Cafe. He looked very different that night – clean shaven and hair shorter in a neat "schoolboy" style, IIRC. I don't know if they were dating, but Adam did have his hand on Ben's leg at times.

I saw him from a distance at a party in Hwood but didn't get a chance to talk to him that night. He was in a McDonald's commercial a few months back and I saw him every time I turned on my TV.

So, Q3, you're opening that exclusive little bistro when? You have the combined talents of 101 women! and the wine choices, and running the board, and starting a new job requiring a 3-way move. ADAMAZING!!! Perhaps sharing that menu might get you an invite to a certain aerie in Hollywood? I foolishly opened up a restaurant once -- one of the biggest financial mistakes of my life. (I've made a lot of mistakes, I have learned a lot about what not to do!) It taught me the "3 Laws of Life". 1. Never start a land war in Asia. 2. Never open a restaurant. 3. Reread rule 2. NEVER OPEN A RESTAURANT. I still do some catering for causes I care about -- a few times a year. I also do "dinner raves" for 50- to 100- people -- a one-night only event with a theme. Just because I love to cook. Cooking was my first love and my one constant passion. I also love dinner parties -- and every now and then everything works. Last night's dinner was close to perfect --- simple food, interesting guests, great wines and a leisurely pace. If I ever got a chance to cook for Adam (Universe are you listening?), I wonder what I would make? It would need to be something fantastic, yet not overdone. What an interesting question. Whatever else, I know that chocolate, red wine and gold leaf would need to be involved.

OK, Q3 - I'm a (retd) chef. If we opened a nice little bistro, what name would we give it as a tribute to Adam ? He could have his own special table! "ADAM'S PLACE" - too simple! Anyone have any other suggestions? Clean or not !

And I have another pic, same night like the one you posted. That's all.

He advertises for a private chef and I get the job, with a little cottage in the grounds of his house! Q3 - I have had 2 restaurants and a catering business and I second your rule, "never open a restaurant" !! Now I just cook for myself and friends, eat and collect cook books !
