OT, but Ruth Bader Ginsberg just passed away. Pretty big news. Oh noooo!!! Shit! These are positions for life and very influencal. I just read that Mitch McConnel blocked Obamas appointment 80 days before the election 2016, but now wants to fasttrack the appointment of the vacant position. I know this isn't very pc, or Christian or whatever to say but the guy is scum. Downright DISGUSTING! Sorry, If wanted i'll delete. Yup, Numbers in Germany are going Up as well. They are trying to contain it with reagional measures to avoid a second national lockdown.

Marionm, my aunt lives in Bavaria, so I don't know the rest of Germany...I'm assuming she was just talking about her region. I think the problem is that people get complacent once things like restaurants open up, and they forget to be careful.
I'm hoping Adam doesn't get too excited and remembers to stay safe. I know, I know, he's 38...but I still worry about him lol.

People have gotten a bit comfortable and many people coming back from vacation Unfortunately bring it Back.

I live in the NW corner of New Jersey - a rural area in an urban state. The state numbers are going up somewhat as things are opening up. I did my thing to go get a flu shot today - which I've never done before, never had the flu, but there's a first time for everything.

I did my thing to go get a flu shot today - which I've never done before, never had the flu, but there's a first time for everything. I live on Long Island...New York. I had the flu 27 years ago. I've taken the flu shot ever since. It is like being hit with a brick wall of fever, pain, and agony. I hemorrhaged my eardrums the same night my fever started. I though I would die! Any adult who thinks the flu is a walk in the park is WRONG! Between the virus and the flu, I have no idea what this winter will be like. Adam is a smart guy. He'll be careful wherever he goes. We just have to hope that the people around him are as careful as he is.
