If my grown children knew the thoughts I had about Adam I think they would be so embarassed, but who cares, I'm in heaven!  |

My son visited me today. I have earlier talked about Adam to him. He has just commented that he doesn't know who he is. Today he told me that he had now listened to Adam's music on youtube and that he is a new Adam fan. He said that he used to think that Adam was just "another celebrity", but now he knows that Adam really can sing - "his voice is just amazing and superior". He had listened to Adam's AI and EMA performances. He wondered how can it be possible that Adam didn't win AI. I told him that there were hatecampaigns against him due to his sexual orientation. It's obvious that (nearly) all people just loves him after they have become acquainted with his music.  you are so lucky bobo! ... not exactly the case with my kids. BUT - I did have a little "win" with my DD today: I presented her with the gift of the Eye of Horus stud earrings and she LOVED them! I was a little apprehensive in deciding to give it to her in the fear of her disliking them due to the association with Adam, but I was totally wrong! She immediately took out the earrings from the lowest of her three holes and put these in! She also asked about Penny Royal, the meaning of the image and asked if this was Adam's design Also, when I was watching Access Hollywood the other day she overheard Adam speaking about "changing the style" and ran into the room to watch! So, I am hopeful that may be soon she'll start listening to his music.... My DS is hopeless though  I am so in love with the Eye of Horus. I did get the tatoo back in January and have had many comments on it. People think its beautiful. I also bought the peace pendant which I wear everyday and love it too! Hopefully I'll be able to get something next year with the Eye of horus design. Praying it will still be available. My daughter loves Adam too, not like me but she understands, my son, not so much!  |

My DS is hopeless though Don't give up, Nica - I imagine it won't be what you say (what do Moms know about current music?) - it will be an outside influence who has listened to or seen Adam perform that will eventually bring him around. I am having a lazy Sunday afternoon. Watching old TV shows and just doing nothing. A rare, but needed break. I ought to do something productive but not a chance!!

Is Adam a "control freak"? I do not think he is but I am sure he is completely in charge of his music, his brand and his life.
I do not think Adam tries to control the people around him unless the are instrumental to his music, artistic expression or try to tell him what he should do, be or say.
