I don't like delurking much but I have to in defense of Adommy. I'm not a cray but I do appreciate some Adommy action and there are many of us who do. Adam knew what he was doing when he chose Tommy. If he thought he needed a more experienced guitarist he would have gotten one. He's a perfectionist after all. He chose Tommy for good reason because he wanted someone to play off of and Tommy was perfect for that. I think Tommy was probably the best choice out of all the band members, although they are all good. Adam is a solo artist not the lead singer of a band so the band is secondary, imho. I really have no interest in who he chooses for the band as long as Tommy is part of it because he and Adam play off each other so well and make it a more fun experience. jo - you should de-lurk more often! Agree! Tommy added much the the GNT experience!!!! I bet he will work his heart out to be what ever type of guitarist Adam needs next go round.

I thought Tommy served a purpose in the band for Adam and he obviously developed his own fan base. Nothing wrong with that except when the crays get overly delusional and start up on Sauli. Some of it is pretty scary from what I've seen. Tommy could do more to shut down their fantasies, IMHO.
It's to the point that I honestly wouldn't care if he was replaced because of the cray cray baggage he brings with him. But apparently, he's still in the band so I wonder - flirting or no flirting on stage? Not sure how I'll feel about the kissing now. Just being honest here. YMMV 8-)

I could probably find a post of mine from well over a 12/18 months ago hoping that Tommy would get moved to rhythm guitar and a funkadelic bass player be found and hired for his spot. If they play funk on tour an experienced and versatile bass person is mandatory. Assuming Monte is gone that opens up a lead guitar spot and my hope for that is a kick ass musical person be found- one that understands all types of music and has some innovation skills as well as stage presence. Adam needs a worthy foil in this position. And just IMO but we can't possibly expect Adam's band to compare with Queen. Every single member of that band was a virtuoso musician and an extraordinarily skilled writer- there was not one iota of slack in that group ever. That's a pipe dream. Tommy on rhythm sounds like a suitable alternative. I've never been impressed with his bass lines and I agree that funk definitely requires experience. Also, don't see Tommy playing lead. I agree that Adam has to find a suitable lead -- wish it could be Monte but I fear that boat has floated -- and I say that wishing that Monte could have supported Adam throughout this B4M mess. BTW, am thrilled to read how well B4M is doing on the charts......

I'm sick of Adommy and the delusional and IMO, dangerous Adommy crays. I hope Adommy action was only part of the last tour and is gone forever. I definitely think Adam needs a better, more experienced lead guitarist - one who can improvise in the moment and go with Adam musically.
