I really think after today Adam needs to release 30 second snippets of the album. Yep. I don't curr if they are finished completely or not. ME WANT.

If I recall Zac, who played keyboard early on, said he was not interested in touring, but always thought he was really good. He seemed very able to follow Adam's lead (remembering Fantasy Springs WLL), and in general is a very talented player. Will be interesting to see who lands where...

The thread today has been interesting. Tommy deserves to move on as much as Adam does and be known for his musicianship, not just being Adam's pretend " ". I find this expression to be very offensive and would never have expected it to be used here. I don't wish to be considered over sensitive but I have only ever heard this used in a very derogatory sense. Statement modified by mutual request -HSM |

I'm just going to trust that Adam knows what he needs for the band this next era. I agree that a good band is important but I'll be clear, even though I enjoyed every one of the band members during GNT not one of them is indispensable to me. Adam is the draw for me. I just want him to have the support he deserves on stage.

I am, as always, an expert in all things (*clears throat*) but my guess is we'll be seeing a new lead guitar player this era (not Tommy). But I'm very glad of Tommy's presence and hope he sticks around simply because he's easy-going and loving--two very valuable qualities to have along on a long and grueling tour. And of course I'm confident he's good enough, musically, or Adam would never have hired him. I also wouldn't be surprised to see an extra member to the band, to pick up the potential of the sound a bit. If this album is very club/electronic inspired, who knows what the stage set-up could be on some songs? I'm curious, excited, and open to anything. My vote for lead guitar?  Hey, we already know she tours well with them, and that's worth a lot (okay, okay, maybe she's booked, but a girl can dream...) On the "leaked" snippet? I agree with everything that's been said here, and think it is unlikely to be on the album, but it sure is fun bopping to it, and I find the bit we have heard enjoyable. Maybe more FYE than TRESPASSING, but then we all enjoyed FYE, too, right? Plus, it gives me an excuse (or close enough) to post a youtube of another "Get Over It" song sung by OK GO, who I've hyped here before  . Enjoy or Ignore, it's up to you! :D (This song is an anthem for me at certain times in my life when I'm feeling unreasonably sorry for myself! Keeps me honest!) |
