Hmmm, yesterday Sutan tweeted "i'm losing my mind about your new magic!!!" What is this magic theme? What does it all mean??????????? OH NO -- NOT A TOP HAT!!!  ETA- NoAngel - I love that "magic" concept. Adam is not just gonna stand there and sing. He will put on a **show** 8-) |

OT, except you're talking about band, band members... The band in which my son drums will be on Jimmy Fallon tomorrow. I put info and some links to them playing live in the member's news thread. A good keyboardist can do this too. The WLL at FS was driven by Zac, not Monte. I agree....to me the music behind this version was never matched again....I loved Zacs playing and that is totally what I hear when I listen. |

A good keyboardist can do this too. The WLL at FS was driven by Zac, not Monte. Sorry just my opinion but the band needs a strong lead guitarist to take the musical cues from and the keyboardist is not that person.  Here is the Paris concert. By the time Adam had played the Paris show they had done WWL so much Adam was sick of it, but still when Adam decided to play it that night Tommy needed direction from not only Adam but Monte as well. (starts about 2:48) I guess I'm not seeing it the way you do--that Tommy is a lesser musician because he talks with Adam and Monte. Adam tells Tommy that they are going to do WWL (we can lip read that). Nothing wrong with that. Then Tommy needs clarification on something. Since they performed this song in so many different ways, perhaps he wanted to know which version: acoustic, loud electric, slow, fast, etc. ? Obviously, he needed to switch instruments for the version they chose. I don't have a clue what his questions were in this loud venue. I just can't judge his musicianship from this. |

Smoke and mirrors, things that aren't quite what they seem, illusions falling away into #Realness... My imagination is running away from me :D Hmm, could be hint at cover art/theme? He was previously a voodoo witchdoctor, then a shaman, now a magician? (Uh oh, cue the Melvin panic!) Or all of it can be magic in it's many forms. He can even pull a rabbit out of a hole HAT! |

But, Magician and Magic don't fit Trespassing! I think his friends have just picked up the word magic and are reusing it.

Yes, we're just BSing around re: Magic/Trespassing – unless ... he's a shaman on a trip to the moon, trespassing onto another realm!?! ;D Breaking through to another plane of consciousness where no mere mortal has gone before?? Just a thought. BTIKM is wide open for visual interpretation though. |

Playing catchup as usual but I agree with Cassie and others in saying that Adam needs a new band that can really bring out his talent. Monte and Tommy were proficient and that was about it. JMHO. YMMV. Ideally he'd have someone like Kaki King but I guess that'd be a pipe dream. :-/
