Interesting tweet by Brooke. Not because of the vitamin shot, but because of the people she chose to send it to. Could this be a hint of who is staying with Adam? brookesauce75Brooke Wendle @tommyjoeratliff @adamlambert @sashamallory @uhhuhhermusic @mr_S*&@^#r_T I need Arnie to give me a B-12 in the booty!!That IS interesting; good find! Does make you wonder why she left out the other band members (well, except for M )and Taylor.

I'm not surprised Tommy's staying but i dont think he's a very good musician (id say he was reasonable). I had the impression he couldnt match Monte, one time when he stood in for Monte. Alas. I really dont have an expert's ear for these things but even then, i felt this distinct quality shift in the artistry of the music when Queen played with Adam. And i had the thought at the time, now THIS is the level of excellence Adam needs to match his vocal ability! But i guess thats just not that easy to come by...

So, assuming that Adam is looking for additions to his touring band, will he pick well known musicians or ones that are unknown but good (and funky) and will travel well while on tour? Does anyone know how Tommy is regarded by the pros? Did any of Adam's songs have strong bass lines where Tommy's bass skills were front and center? Do you think Tommy could be offered the lead guitar position that he originally auditioned for with FYE? Tommy has performed with a few other bands during this hiatus, has he been playing bass or lead? Adam has got to be pulling musicians together soon as once the single drops I'm assuming there will be promo rounds. Just wondering if any one has any thoughts (no, never, not on this site ) Just my uninformed opinions. I do not see well known musicians joining Adam on tour. Yes, he would be amazing to work with, and he is generous with his band members, but Adam is the hoopla magnet. He is the reason people attend the concert. All eyes are on him. I believe well known and respected musicians want a little bit more of the spotlight on themselves, and rightly so. They want to be the features, not the supporting players. There are thousands of very accomplished but unknown musicians who would jump at the chance to play for Adam. I see him "casting" the next tour with these folks. As for Tommy..... scroll if you stan him. I do not think that he had any significant reputation or professional experience as a guitarist prior to joining Adam's band. I have not seen or heard anything that impresses me with his musical talent. His bass playing was serviceable, but basic and uninspired. The few clips I have heard of his lead playing were, again, basic, and harmonically not very interesting. He really fumbled the ball on ACIGC, when a more accomplished instrumentalist could have picked up on the bass line more easily, even if the song was unfamiliar. IMO, Tommy will be cast in the next show because he has proven he can learn his musical part, he has the look that Adam wants, he plays well off of Adam, and he and Adam have a good relationship with some similar esthetics and attitudes. YMMV

As a result of aggressive email promotion by Amazon, the MP3 version of the unmentionable album is now at #975 in MP3 albums. Selling like hotcakes, obviously. The CD version is #404 in music, and the deluxe version with the highly desirable additional remixes, comes in at #2923. Clearly, this is a hot item on music lovers' Christmas list. You are getting so much pleasure out of tracking these sales! Heh heh. Was at Barnes and Nobel yesterday. No bastard album to be seen (although they *did* have James Durbin's CD!). Just one lonely FYE under Adam's nameplate in the regular pop section though.

Brian May was in the Top 20 (17, I think) of that RS article about the Top 100 guitar players of all time. So, yes, you are correct. That level is hard to achieve and not easy to find. I wouldn't judge Tommy's skills by the 2 times he stood in for Monte. They were both last minute changes and even Cam had to switch instruments (I think.) So, ya, not a good perspective, IMO. Wasn't Arnie the bus driver on the US leg of the tour? ETA: I don't stan Tommy, cassie, but I think you may be underestimating him. I also don't play guitar but I think his lead videos with Ravi are pretty damn great. Different than Monte, not as heavy is the way I would descrine it. I do know 2 people who are guitar players and have said, in their opinion, Tommy is better than Monte.

I'm no expert about the Finnish BB, I watch it occasionally. But I doubt that Sauli could watch the Sunday BB-show live...? The videos come online later the same night here www.bigbrother.fi/videot.shtml/ohjelmat and Sunday's show was published there 00.10 AM today (at Adam's time 2.10 PM Sunday). I don't know if you can view those videos in LA though...? The live time for the Sunday show (the main show of the week) is 9.00 - 10.35PM Finnish time (at Adam time starting at 11AM). There gotta be some Finns who know better LOL. Please step in and save me :D.

From OnTop magazine: Adam Lambert has said he's considering marrying his boyfriend Sauli Koskinen. We regret reporting in an earlier On Top Magazine story that Lambert was not interested in marriage. The 29-year-old Lambert said in an interview with Rolling Stone that he “never considered marriage before. But now that I am, I can't do it.” Lambert fans told us that he wasn't saying that he “can't do” marriage, but lamenting the fact that gay and lesbian couples cannot marry in his home state of California. more.... www.ontopmag.com/article.aspx?id=10203&MediaType=1&Category=22

Happy to admit that. But even in the role that was his, he doesnt strike me as anything more than "regular". He never stood out for me with his playing.

Just wondering if any one has any thoughts (no, never, not on this site ) There are thousands of musicians in LA that are amazing. Adam basically has "the pick of the litter." His band will be awesome, I have no doubt. I would not be surprised if Tommy switches to lead guitar. Remember, Tommy originally auditioned as lead guitar and Adam liked him so much they asked him if he could switch to Bass. He is very good. will travel well. Lol, that sounds like a garment you take on vacation. Silk jersey, it travels well! But yeah, with FYE the band was originally hired for the promo period only, and with the long tour, the band went through changes. This time they might put more consideration on the longevity and availability of the players. I don't think that Tommy will be offered the lead guitarist position. He is good, and Adam obviously wants to keep him, but as I see it, he wasn't originally even hired because of his skills. He was hired because his looks fit the band. (he was still required to be good, though.) I believe that during this two years, Adam has truly met and learned to appreciate great playing, and he can afford to both keep Tommy and hire a virtuoso as his lead guitarist.
