Peeps on Twitter are happy bc apparently that tkradio twitter or the hot 99.5 twitter is from a DC station PD and that DC basically shunned WWFM until it peaked or something. Sooo I guess this is good then? IDK I didn't follow tat crap last go around.. SQUEE!!!! OMG - 99.5 completely ignored Adam during the FYE era, and they are the biggest Top40 radio station in the area! The other HAC stations did play him, but frankly only WWFM got reasonable airtime, and those stations have such large playlists that a good rotation for them is at best a few times a day. 99.5 are SPIN FIENDS for popular songs! (And, yeah, I'm really looking forward to hearing Adam so much I'm sick of him! ;D ;D )

There are many Christmas songs thta have nothing to do with Christmas. they are like "winter carols." "Baby it's cold outside" for one! But.. have you READ the lyrics? C'mon baby I simply must go - Baby, it's cold outside The answer is no - Ooh baby, it's cold outside This welcome has been - I'm lucky that you dropped in So nice and warm -- Look out the window at that storm My sister will be suspicious - Man, your lips look so deliciousMy brother will be there at the door - Waves upon a tropical shore My maiden aunt's mind is vicious - Gosh your lips look deliciousWell maybe just a half a drink more - Never such a blizzard beforeI've got to go home - Oh, baby, you'll freeze out there Say, lend me your comb - It's up to your knees out thereYou've really been grand - Your eyes are like starlight now But don't you see - How can you do this thing to me There's bound to be talk tomorrow - Making my life long sorrow At least there will be plenty implied - If you caught pneumonia and died I really can't stay - Get over that old out Ahh, but it's cold outside Baby it's cold outside Brr its cold... It's cold out there Cant you stay awhile longer baby Well... I really shouldn't... alright Make it worth your while baby Ahh, do that again..NGL, this Christmas song would be a good one for Adam to sing! How about The Christmas Song, I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas or My Grown Up Christmas List? :D

There are many Christmas songs thta have nothing to do with Christmas. they are like "winter carols." "Baby it's cold outside" for one! Yes, there are many beautiful Christmas songs that don't have anything to do with Jesus being the savior for all mankind. I don't know Adam's feelings on this particular song, but I could see where it might bother him to sing a song that is all about something he doesn't believe in. Adam has been asked several times about celebrating Christmas or doing Christmas music and he has responded with the statement that he is Jewish. Seriously doubt there are any xmas specials in Adam's future, if only because if there were I can't imagine Dadbert would leak the info... But speaking as a non-believing Jew (like Adam) I'd say that I actually have an easier time singing Christian religious music than Jewish religious music, because for me the Christian music is just a pretty song, where as in singing the Jewish music I can't help feeling I'm pretending to beliefs I don't hold, and it makes me feel kinda awkward. There are plenty of terrific secular "christmas" songs I love, and of course in most ways those are the most "comfortable" of all for me, but I wouldn't want to miss all those lovely melodies by Bach, etc. Oldies but Goodies. All of which is neither here nor there cause I'm certain Dadbert is just joking about something or other and despite my above claim I, like tigerlily can't imagine Adam's singing Xmas music...

Just wanted to make a comment on books....
Of course I read a lot. Duh... my moniker. About six months ago, I finally broke down and got a Kindle. I like it because I can download a book anytime of the day. However, what I don't like is that many of the author's that are recommended are not familiar to me. I feel as if the tried and true and really great writers that Amazon use to recommend are being replaced by cheap pretenders. DNW!!! Digital download are great technology, but if for profits sake it is going to deliver crap, I am going to become a dinosaur and revert to hard copy.

I still think he going to Finland. Oh, me too, BB, and if not then that face will certainly convince him!!! ;D. And evergreen, I just meant I don't see it happening in a public way--if he's with the Koskinen family on Xmas, I assume he'll accompany them in all their celebrations--that's part of the fun! And how jolly to add that voice to your family caroling, no?!?! Just imagine!
