Well, i dunno... I remember the little clips we got of FYE like it was yesterday... The excitement was crazy, and for me it certainly didn't deaden the anticipation or lessen the impact of FYE when we finally got to hear the whole album. I played those little 30-sec snippets FOREVAH!!! :  I mean, the next time somebody sends out a smug self-righteous tweet saying, "ooooooh... guess what, losers??!! Just listened to Lambert's new album and get ready to die everybody!!!" I'm gonna hurt somebody.   I love this time of anticipation building, building, building - a time of wonderful exciting titillating foreplay - a snippet here, a snippet there - bits of tantalizing lyrics released by the Man himself - praises from all who have experienced this bit of this heaven. I am swept up in this delicious period preceding the earthshaking climax - the glorious release. Ahhh....and then being sated, fully satisfied and wonderfully exhausted, yet replaying the moment over and over again. Guys - Adam is always worth the wait.  |

So depending on what articles you read George Michael is either on the mend or on deaths doorstep... hope is the former. I have very fond memories of road trips taken to the tunes on his Faith album, he was a male pop trailblazer and personal issues aside he has a really good voice - not quite Adam good (to my tastes) but good. Actually I think we need to recognise a new music condition called the "Adam effect" - it happens when singers that you previously thought or would have thought were pretty good suddenly leave you kind of cold. Could also be looked at as the Adam scale 1 - 10. 1 being no where near and 10 being as good as... but then of course is all subjective and I am happily biased. The "Adam Effect" .... love it! Have experienced it time and again. In fact, every time I hear an artist touted and check them out. Nice to know I am not alone. |

As for the word fuck, there are different let's say words. It's very difficult to explain. What I'm about to say is not exactly accurate but I'm not a tranlsator! The actual word fuck is ãáìù , I will write it in English "gamo" , (it's our 3rd letter on the alphabet- alpha-beta- gamma) The editor used the word ãáìïôï , "gamoto" which means "fuckity" and he meant it of course as a compliment. Cassie, Bridgeymah I have to say the adam effect also applies for me regarding actors and other male celebrities. They just dont have his huge presence and qualities and where once i might have looked twice, its really hard to do that after adam!  |
