I MUST be a bad fan because I have no idea which one is Adam. Actually I'm impressed with you guys remembering what his jeans look like. Most jeans look alike to me. Most jeans look alike to me, too - but Adam's jeans are just a little more . . . special. Well yeah. But that part doesn't show in the photo. :D

(gosh, really? lovely Adam depicted as Pinnochio/liar? i don't see that - I just see someone trying to be open with fans, progressive/responsible in terms of civil rights, respectful in terms of his actual personal/private life, etc. tough row to hoe, I would think . . . ) It was a joke, bridget! I just don't believe he's not considering marriage. I find Pinnochio cute and I tried to imply that 'lying' bit in the cutest way possible...

AleksandraKV, I hear your point. Adam has definitely been sort of all over the place with the marriage question. My thoughts:
I wish the media (and more fans) would focus on the travesty that gay marriage is not legal in most states in the U.S., and that even if a gay person can get married in their state, federal law doesn't recognize it. The whole point of Outlaws of Love is this, and it deserves attention.
I don't think Adam is always very precise in his language. I think he knows what he means, and it all makes sense in his head, but his words are sometimes a bit vague which means people will interpret at will.
I think it is natural for the media and fans to speculate about Adam's personal life because that's a lot of what drives reader and fan interest. It is what it is, although it does make me a bit queasy when it seems that that is all anyone talks about.
Finally, we forget that there's another person in this equation-- Sauli. And he's what- 25, 26 years old? Super young, at any rate. No one knows what his POV is on the whole thing. For all we know, he could be the one saying, "Woah, let's not rush into anything..." My point is that Adam can do all the thinking and considering he wants, and there's another person who has to be on the same page at the same time.
My personal opinion is that they're both perfectly content with the way their lives are right now, but they probably have at least talked about marriage in a theoretical way, which obviously inspired Adam to write OoL and to say that he is struck for the first time in a real way, that he couldn't even if he wanted to.

I just don't believe he's not considering marriage. I find Pinnochio cute and I tried to imply that 'lying' bit in the cutest way possible... I think you are projecting how YOU feel about marriage and relationships. I was married a loooooong time ago, and at these old times everyone SHOULD be married after after having a few months of relationship. I was married after 9 years of relationship and I wouldn't be married at all . But my mother in law said she would be embarrassed to walk in the streets if we didn't. : And I admit I did it also because I wanted to have children and it would be more difficult without marriage. My daughter , 26, is having a steady relationship for 8 years now. I don't think they will ever be married. Marriage means nothing to me and my daughter thinks so too. And because I talk a lot with young people, they think so too. So yes, I believe Adam when he says he's not considering marriage.

Private/personal life is just that. What Adam chooses to share, he shares (and he does share a lot - "open book" a lot of time), but what he doesn't, he doesn't. (Same for Sauli.) My hope for Adam is that as much as it is possible, the only stuff "out there" regarding his private/personal life is stuff HE chooses to put out there.

LOL!!!!! What he hasn't heard how bad the sales are yet? Brian got so much love from Adam's fans this morning, for telling Mayron, "he shoulda bought a couple thousand more!"
