I think the important thing to bring back from this Hot 100 placement is that the rank comes from three sources. The week’s most popular songs across all genres, ranked by radio airplay audience impressions as measured by Nielsen BDS, sales data as compiled by Neilsen SoundScan and streaming activity data provided by online music sources. So we've got: Audience Impressions for spins - ie the bigger the cities playing him the better Sales Data - with the core Glamberts already on board then this all depends upon people hearing it Online Streaming - this seems to be the place Glamberts can make a difference on a daily basis but which sites? Well, I'm pretty sure that the Vevo YT counts and I'd guess that the I Heart Radio On Demand videos count, too. I wonder about the Spotify, Pandora and other similar sites count?

The reference to streaming as an effective way to increase the song's rank leads me to a question. Do you have to play the song all the through for it to count?
Don't get me wrong because I really enjoy BTIKM but listening over and over again could quickly get old and I do not want to tire of his music, I want to pace myself but I also want to advance the song so can I just listen to the beginning and switch to another site?

I do that too, but, I think the stations can tell if it's on mute on their sites, so I use my PC mute instead. I occasionally get a message on some of the streaming stations about the player going to sleep when left on mute very long.

So basically, to be safe, play the whole song and mute the pc is necessary.
Thanks. I am going to go listen to the Clear Channel Austin station although it is currently the mix/rock station and not the Top 40 station. Gotta start somewhere.

Not about Adam, other than I want to see him on this list for tour #3! But I find stuff like this interesting! Whoa, Rihannsu at U2!! Billboard/Pollstar Top Tours of 2011 www.billboard.com/#/fea... 1. U2: $293,281,487; 2,887,972 attendance; 44 shows/44 sell-outs Yep, that's what you get when you play only huge stadiums and design and build your own unique one of a kind stage that allows you to do a 360 degree show in an open stadium increasing audience capacity in some instances by as much as 20-30 thousand seats. Then price your tickets with only 15% above the $100.00 mark and 45% under $50 so as to encourage sellouts. It helps to have 30 years of blockbuster hit material to draw from too as well as being known as one of THE best live acts around.

A poster on one of the boards I check for numbers says he hasn't been able to get any but expects they will leak along with next weeks numbers. So I guess we'll just have to keep our fingers crossed. The problem will be that if only next weeks numbers leak we may not get to backtrack unless he sells enough this week to chart again. If he falls off the chart we may not get the numbers at all. Boo.
