Well here's some to play with even though I think it's kind of pointless. Last week Scotty's song was #84 on the Hot 100 with 18,000 sold. So he jumped 29 spots based on the increase in sales from 18,000 to 62,000. But all that tells me is that it is reasonable to assume Adam sold 30,000 or more. ETA: I don't see a way to look at last week's Ultimate chart to see what Scotty's sales points were then but if you can find that you might have a little more to work with. me neither, I could only see that he has been #107 last week. Ok i was about to write another post with a alot of numbers (I really like numbers and also to play with them : ), but then realised we actually don't know anything about ultimates point system(you all probably long before I did). The only thing we can do is to wait and hope :-/ ;D

I would say Rene's number is right. She knows someone from Adam's old management quite well, and this person would be able to tell her the correct numbers. I don't like Rene but I don't think she would make up the 39,000 figure either.

I'm impressed with all the numbers research here. I just have one question/comment:
I thought Brian was able to get sales for Idols if they were in BB top 200. Am I remembering wrong? Wouldn't be the first time & won't be the last LOL.

Wouldn't be the first time & won't be the last LOL. Numbers are never guaranteed. Top 10 or 20 are most often released but my understanding is that there it is never a certainty for ANY numbers. Most of what floats around the net is released anonymously by people who have access to the charts through their jobs. There is always a risk with this. Soundscan guards their data and cracks down on leaks where ever they can because they are charging a lot of money for access. If someone is discovered as a leak they can loose access. Brian has said in the past that he has best access to country and christian charts. He gets the BB200 if it leaks but he can't get anything beyond that unless it is leaked to him by someone involved with the particular artist. Numbers for particular artist usually are leaked when the hit milestones. I've followed on Pulse for a while and it is interesting to see that sometimes leaks will happen pretty regularly for a while then suddenly dry up completely for indefinite periods as either Soundscan cracks down an plugged leaks or people move on from jobs that afforded them access. I find it best to think of numbers as gifts from the Gods that are there or they aren't and no amount of begging, complaining or demanding will affect whether or not they appear. Take them when you can get them and when you can't shrug it off and hope to back track later. I should say that from what I have gathered it is exact sales figures that gets people in trouble with Soundscan itself. Journalists are not allowed to publish anything but rounded figures and official releases from Soundscan to press usually consist of rounded numbers.

All new information for me. Thanks. So if Rene ( ) hadn't posted we would have no idea at all?

There is a thread on Pulse for CHR #51-200. It is updated infrequently and doesn't always show all the way down to #200 but I've been watching for BTIKM to show up. At the bottom of today's update the poster added a couple of extra songs one of which was BTIKM. This report gives us this last week and the week before for CHR spins. LW TW Artist Title Label TW LW B AI 149 135 ADAM LAMBERT Better Than I Know Myself 19/RCA 25 24 1 0.140
B=Bullet
Again this is just CHR/Top 40. I couldn't find a similar thread in the HAC section.
ETA: From the Hot 100 thread this is just AI but I believe it is across all formats posted on 12/29/2011. These lower songs aren't posted regularly. ADAM LAMBERT -Better Than I Know Myself= 0.452 (+0.014)
