I decided last night that one of the great things about the single coming out this month is that, basically, I will have a full month before I start angsting about the numbers!!

Yes that's the ONE thing I'm not looking forward too. The angst - and I just know I will. Me too! But I am reserving the Christmas and New Year freeze as a no angst 4 week zone for my brain! I will start seriously watching the charts around the 3rd week of January. Unless of course, the single EXPLODES! Then I will start watching immediately! ;D

Kelly just made #1 on the HAC charts! Wow, that is great because Stronger is a much stronger single!

I find that interesting that she is #1 on the HAC charts but looking at her sales, she is not setting the world of fire for all the radio plays she is receiving. Her AI audience # is incredible. So I;m expecting a much higher sales for her CD What can we realistically expect sales to be for Adam??

It is close to 800,000 and it's only been out since end of August. I expect it will go platinum eventually. Then "Stronger" is a really great song and should climb the charts and sell faster. The album is not selling fast but it is over 300,000 and I expect it to move slowly towards Gold, then close to or over Platinum depending on her singles. IMO, this album is way better than her last one. If RCA does at least 3 singles for her, I think it will go platinum.

Not sure if this is considered OT but I really dislike MKIA & am surprised it's doing well. WDKY is definitely better but I have a negative feeling about it only because some peeps on twitter are saying that Adam's delays have been because of Kelly. They want to promote WDKY so BTIKM stays on back burner. IOW - she gets priority. I can't see why RCA can't promote 2 artists at once FFS but I know nothing.

RCA can and does promote 2 artists at once, even more. We just don't follow them all. I don't think Kelly's singles have anything to do with Adam's. The delay was Adam's choice, IMO.
