I am mid way on watching the Gaga video. Does it get better. I don't have a good first impression.
ETA: I should not have to go through 10 minutes of a video before it gets a point or starts to entertain. I hope Adam does not do anything like this. It's pop music. Entertain me. Make me dance. I don't have time for self indulgent, para psycho, para-artistic , I am so deep craptastic video. YMMV.

Gelly found earlier today that Adam wore that cardigan from the Out event in the Australian promo (the one he stole from mys*&@^#r's wardrobe). I think he's wearing the same thing in this TV interview (it was probably the same day). I had a great time watching it again after not seeing it for ages: I'm posting the next segment, even though it has little to do with Adam, just because it makes me rotfl. - wow! I have not seen these! THANK YOU! What a pleasure! |

Back to the Sex Music topic earlier. I wonder if Adam was somewhat inspired by the constant screaming of women and men in the audience, especially during his encores. I know there's always screaming from fans for musicians, but in a lot of those videos the audience sounded as if they're downright having orgasms. Rambling here.. Maybe I haven't watched as many videos, but from looking at a lot of videos from a lot of the mainstream artists, mainly the male performers, none of their performances and concerts seem all that erotic to me. Of course there's a lot of naked and semi naked men and women on stage, it doesn't seem to evoke the same reactions as those artists of past generations, as in Prince, Madonna, Robert Plant, Janet Jackson, etc. One of the GNT shows I attended was the Milwaukee show -- of the writhing on the stairs while singing WLL fame. I was with a professional colleague whose job mostly consists of booking musicians. She was a casual fan of his and mostly went with me because she wanted to hear WWFM live. After we left, I asked her what she thought and she said, "Okay. First off. Sexiest thing I've ever seen on stage. Secondly? I've never in my life had the experience of knowing that many women want to have sex at the same time. Never. And the fact that a gay guy inspired that reaction? That is saying something about the nature of erotica right there." I was at the Milwaukee show too and I know I didn't move an inch through the stair performance. When Adam came to the edge of the stage I feel he looked my way and I was still standing with my mouth open. I couldn't move. I'm sure he thought, what the hell's going on there! ;D |

I don't remember what concert this was exactly, but I remember there was a guard or something like that, at one of the concerts, who didn't really know too much about Adam, and was a bit resistant and apprehensive about Adam's flamboyancy. But after the concert people asked him what he thought about Adam. And he said that even though he didn't care much for Adam's campiness, he said that he definitely was in need of some woman companionship after the concert. ;D Was just thinking that if Adam was to make a straight man, who was slightly against him feel what a lot casuals and die hard fans of Adam feel...that is some strong magnetism right there. |

(I wasn't bored for one second watching Gaga's new vid - I thought it was fun - yep, that's right, fun. It's another of her own little "faux-reign/foreign" films - and I loved whatever building that was that the hospital scene was filmed in, and her look in the dance studio, and her starting over with nothing but her bedazzler, and the fact that the "love interest" in the vid is . . . the night, the city, her life, her art, etc.) God, I hope Adam's first single is just UNDENIABLE. |
