OK, after thinking about it and reading all the tweets and excitement from DJ's, promoters and other insiders that have been brought here over the weeks I am going with the latest Glamazon rumor until proven otherwise. A little flail never hurts and I won't be upset if it doesn't happen.
So in that light: Here is my prediction:
Next Friday: Announcement of the single release
Following Tuesday: either release to radio or early (soft) release for radio.
New Years: Performance in New York or England. (A girl can dream can't she:-)
Why do I think December would be OK: Because remember it is a WORLDWIDE release and the whole globe is in the mix. So perhaps it can gain traction in other areas and by the New Year the US DJ's will be all over it like flies on sh!t poop!!!
Bottom line for me: I just don't think they can keep the lid on this for another 4 to 6 weeks and too many PTB like sonyglobal, rca, shoshonna (spelling?), Dj's and on an on are taking too much for it to be that far off.
I am going to look at this as the glass half full until Adam tweets "hey guys, the rumor my single is coming out this month is just that" type of thing. Otherwise, if he stays silent it will feed into my speculation.

cupofadam... YAY for posting pics!!! I'm so proud of you!!!  I love this pic so much... Adam's face is crystal clear and the rest of the photo with its blurry swirly colors is PURE CRAZY EMOTION!!! (and the guy on the left is all WTF did I get myself into... lmaooo)

Hi guys!!!  I'm home from my wonderful vacation. I'm never going to catch up!!! I tried to get on and read a little bit, but there were days that I just couldn't. And, I really, really hate missing stuff!!! LOL!!! I can see I need to do some of this:  and this:  and a bit of this:  And I don't even know ALL that's happened!! But, from what I've seen today, I have some serious reading to do!! I want to thank you all for the awesome birthday greetings you posted on my Bday a couple of weeks ago. Sorry I'm so late about it. There was just so much going on and I was so tired at night I just fell into bed. I really missed my Atop fix daily. And, a special thank you to an Atoper (you know who you are) who sent me a sweet gift at my brothers house!! I will treasure it and your friendship forever!! Everyone here is so very special and I really did miss you. I'll try to post about my trip in the personal thread soon. It was so nice to spend time with family, especially my son and his fiance who I had not met. She is so special!!! Such a sweet gal...just luv her! I managed to catch a cold a few days before I came home. And, had a fun time in Denver with a 3 hour delay because of snow!! Kind of shocking to come from HI to that!!! And, it was 10 degrees cold here last night. UGH!!! Anyways, so good to be back. Going to try to catch up on everything now. Might take me days...lol!!! Oh, and I don't know how Adam does it traveling around all the time. Jet lag is really kicking my butt right now. Guess he's got age on his side though. |

Sorry... gotta re-post this again... Animated, you should seriously think about making an Adam calendar at some point. I would buy one in a heartbeat!! |

Great time for all of our lurkers to join in:-) I don't know how realistic this is or isn't.. but if Adam released today, I'd have more of an issue. If he releases a week or two before xmas.. *shrug*. Does it really matter if it is the christmas freeze. All it means is that it wouldn't be played in mass immediately. The funny thing is, no matter when it is release and no matter how much we may love it, its going to still take time to gain steam and move up the charts even with RCA behind it. It'll just sit in queue waiting to be played as they move through their 2011 year in music review. |

My program guide says for X-Factor US:
December 7th: Top 5 perform
December 8th: Live Results
December 14th: The remaining finalists perform
December 15th: My guide doesn't go this far
Sure looks like the 15th is the finale ...

Animated and gelly both. It is obvious we are not getting on from AO or the fan club. I haven't found one on any of the on line calendar sites either. And, I must have one. (secretly, I want a box day calendar with a different pic for each of the 366 days of 2012, but I will settle for one per month). We have some very creative people in ATop; I am sure you would get lots of takers. If someone here doesn't do it, I will have to make my own at Walmart or something. |
