For a long time, I used my real picture as my Twitter avi. If you do this, be prepared to be recognized. I was startled to hear people screaming NEEDACOKE!!!

* while sitting on the sidewalk in line at the Nokia in NYC
* while playing a slot machine at the Borgata
* while eating at the restaurant beside the Norva in Norfolk
* while driving by the 930 Club in DC
* while checking into the hotel at Foxwoods
* when leaving the Atlanta Symphony Hall with my daughter (this
freaked her that a perfect stranger would recognize me LOL)
Bamafan came up and introduced herself to me at the Ryman so maybe being recognizable is not a bad thing after all!
