There is no way Adam's launch will be like Gaga's. I know it seems crazy to us, but the whole Pop world is not waiting for Adam's single. Gaga is in a class all by herself. Now, single 2 may have the whole Pop world waiting but as of now, he is still making his name. I think all the Russian tweets mean is that it will be released the same day worldwide, unlike the FYE era that had different singles and different release dates for different countries. They said they were doing a worldwide release on same day. She did too and was the last to do so. How is that not comparable? google trans: SonyMusicRussia We're talking about radio premiere:) Before this single will be presented throughout the world in one day! I'm reading this and the previous tweet (and I may very well be off) as saying that the release of the single officially to radio for airplay may not be simultaneous, just the PREMIER of the single with official adds later on. I also don't know about whether being able to BUY the single will be simultaneous and/or whether that will be sometime after the premier.

Hey all - I would think that the song would need to be released this week in order for radio stations to have a few weeks to add it before the "shut down" between xmas and new years. I seem to remember there is 2 week time period when no adds happen. Has this been discussed already? Does one of the smart people about the radio play business have any thoughts on this? I am not here very much so I may have completely missed that coversation. Hai!! I still don't think it will go for adds until after the 1st of the year. They can play it before the official adds date.

(The Hardest Ever)" (Interscope) 12/13 Mainstream Adele, "Set Fire To The Rain" (XL/Cumbia) David Guetta f/Nicki Minaj, "Turn Me On" (Astralwerks/Capitol)

So am I doing this right? Time difference to US is right now 18 hours? So, Eastcoast would get this at 6 am, if they really follow that plan? Perhaps I should wait for an announcement first before making details plans...but why start behaving logical now? So, did anybody follow that Gaga rollout and know what happened? Did they play the music at the same moment in multiple regions, even though it was awkward times for some? And the next interesting question is going to be, how will this be marketed? I mean, I am not quite expecting Adam to show up on buses all over NY quite yet. But they will need to market it outside of the fanbase, which clearly they are able to reach with a message in Russian - no problem. I don't think that RCA will follow Gaga's rollout to a T. I think that they will premiere the single on a Monday and not a Friday. Adam is not as big as Gaga, so I don't think that he will have radio stations all over playing the sing a hundred times a day with just the premiere. If the song was to premiere and to be up for sale the same day, I think RCA will want to have enough lead time, so that the first week of sales will be more then decent. Without a huge radio promo and push, I think that Adam has enough casual fans and die hards to sell at least $50,000 for the first week. But with the heavy radio push, I think they'll aim to double and possibly triple that number. (And now I'm going to get trampled for saying at least $50,000 and not $100,000+ /0\)

Yeah, I really never thought that would necessarily be the case or if it would NEED to be the case. The fact that it would PREMIERE in every country on the same day is all that was really relevant to me. Would it be available via a website or iTunes or any other means immediately? I'm sure they will have a plan or strategy, but that's all academic, as far as I'm concerned once it debuts. They will have something in place, but it's anybody's guess what. Avril gave hers away for free via Facebook once she debuted on NYRE last year. That's a possibility too. I kind of hope not, but it's a strategy they've used in the past. Once it premieres, however they push it out is fine with me.

I agree, but it seems like if they are really doing a bang-up job with the radio promo they would release it so that it could be added the same week by the major stations. But that still could happen with a release around Dec 12. That's my guess for the date. Dec 12. No later dammit.

Peolple, watch everyone's reaction: Adam's - was probably THE MOST EMOTIONAL of the WHOLE season! the judges, Leila and Drake's! It is incredible!
