Before you trash Toby Knapp too much -- I suggest you read his blog. For example, here is his post supporting Adam's trashing of Micheal Bachman. He likes Adam..... Took me a minute to figure out you meant Michele. Auto correct I presume?

WOW - I haven't posted here in AGES & now there are all these new members deciding to jump in & delurk - is it something in the alignment of the stars today? Or just the anticipation of Adam's new music? Anyway, it's nice to see that everyone still has opinions & info to share. The is obviously the place to go to keep up with what's going on. (I know, I know, I need to get off my ass & post more often.) Sheesz.... :

On the single I am adopting the "Que Sera" philosophy. What will be will be and I trust Adam to put out something fantastic whether it's uptempo or not, upbeat or not, club banger or not.
On the Queen stuff just LOVE that Roger and Brian have both said such fabulous things about that performance with Adam. Here is what I have been thinking about though. Both of them talked about Adam having grown as a performer and I don't disagree with that because he has. BUT, the thing is when Brian and Roger performed on Idol with Adam and Kris they did not experience ADAM. What they got was a perfect duet partner who tailored his stage presence as well as his performance so as to not totally bury his partner Kris. They got "boy next door" Adam to go with "aw shucks" Kris Allen. I don't think they were AT ALL prepared for ADAM LAMBERT in his full performance mode. Brian talked about how easy it was and you could really see it in his face. There is absolutely no doubt that Brian was having the time of his life playing off of Adam on that stage. I think Brian and Roger were absolutely energized by having a performer to work with who as Roger said "has that same over the top hystrionic performing style as Freddie did". They are probably salivating at the idea of working with him again.
All the more impressive because months ago when I first heard them talking about the idea for the Extravaganza thing it sounded to me as if they were just tired of trying to make it work without Freddie. It really sounded like Roger didn't think they would be doing much of anything anymore. In the two radio interviews that I listened to since the EMA's Roger sounded so amazed and joyful about how that performance went that it really seems to have invigorated him.
The best thing is they know Adam has his own career and they AREN'T planning anything huge but they do seem positively excited about the idea of more special performances with Adam. I think it is a win win situation for Adam and for them.

Want to apologize for posting earlier that it was a shitty day in fandom. Sometimes teasing leads to excitement, sometimes to frustration and anger. I am not a big fan of the twitter universe so I guess I just wanted all these unknown people to shut up already and leave me to my quiet expectations rather than toying with my emotions. I took some time away and am feeling better. Being an Adam fan is ALWAYS fun and exciting and (usually) serene. I will now try harder to "keep an eye on the prize".

Before you trash Toby Knapp too much -- I suggest you read his blog. For example, here is his post supporting Adam's trashing of Micheal Bachman. He likes Adam..... "It's sad that it's come to this point, but the truth must be called out lest someone like this - who very clearly harbors a disdain for some of our people in our society, and I applaud Adam Lambert for his bravery and his willingness to be the voice for those who have been bullied by people like Bachmann," American radio presenter Toby Knapp said. "We elect Presidents to serve all the people, not just the ones who we happen to agree with, and this sort of divisiveness is exactly what our generation is tired of when it comes to Washington and our leaders www.1065.com/pages/tobyknapp.html?an=Adam-Lambert-blasts-Michelle-Bachmann-labels-her-ANTI-GAY-bully Hmm, that's interesting he would say that about Adam in 2011, also having said 2009-10 that KA is morally superior and having introduced KA's song by saying, "The REAL American Idol...." I wonder if Adam grew on him like a fungus or if he harbors both views at the same time.

I have read Toby's comments about 6 times, and I have read the whole thread, and my Twitter feed. Can someone explain the problem to me?
Is it because Toby didn't blog that the nameless track (even though we know the name) known as Adam's new single wasn't gong straight to #1? Well no intelligent DJ is going to blog.
It sounds positive to me.
We knew it was mid-tempo from the UK tweets and the demo. Adam said it was up-beat, not up-tempo.
Midtempo songs that are hits end up on Pop and HAC stations, and since radio station ownership is often consolidated in some markets, the station management usually coordinate playlists to maintain market cover and differentiation.
