Perhaps he was singing along to the Glee track that started at the second verse. On the show, the deaf school signed the first verse. NAL had to start at the second verse because that is the arrangement they told him to do.

Yep, Dev, Dancing in the dark, is mid tempo. It seems most of the TOP 40/CHR is mid tempo right now. You still hear a lot of uptempo, but most of those are recurrent radio play.

Uptempo, mid tempo or ballad, the most important thing is the music.

ETA: I liked the demo of Better Than I Know Myself. Ever since it was first posted, I downloaded it and listen to it often. It is clearly unfinished because it has no bridge. I am looking forward to seeing how Adam finished it. Personally, I was not liking all the electro, uptempo reports. IMO, the demo as is shows a lot of promise.

When I first heard Guetta/Usher's song "Without you", I thought that Adam's voice would have fit perfectly in that kind of song and I thought that "Without You" would be a hit. I hope that Adam's song can do as well as that song.
