Before you trash Toby Knapp too much -- I suggest you read his blog. For example, here is his post supporting Adam's trashing of Michele Bachman. He likes Adam..... "It's sad that it's come to this point, but the truth must be called out lest someone like this - who very clearly harbors a disdain for some of our people in our society, and I applaud Adam Lambert for his bravery and his willingness to be the voice for those who have been bullied by people like Bachmann," American radio presenter Toby Knapp said. "We elect Presidents to serve all the people, not just the ones who we happen to agree with, and this sort of divisiveness is exactly what our generation is tired of when it comes to Washington and our leaders www.1065.com/pages/tobyknapp.html?an=Adam-Lambert-blasts-Michelle-Bachmann-labels-her-ANTI-GAY-bullyThank you, Q3!!!!

Ya know what? I just gotta say that no matter WHAT tempo the single turns out to be, I really don't care - because at least I'll get to hear his VOICE again. I'm sure there's some master plan behind setting the release date & the PR hype - that's the music industry's job to do that shit. I don't know anything about that stuff. I just know that when it does finally get released I'll be buying it.
No matter how much we beg & plead, they're not gonna release it until they release it. I'm just trying to keep myself busy & not obsess until it gets here.
I'm just looking forward to downloading it & playing it over & over & over & over & over..... ;D

Joe R. is not a fan of anyone. He is a fan of the artists he is promoting. *********** I take what Tobby blogs with a bit of salt. But Kris and Adam are not competting anymore. Never actually were IMO. Now that both of Adam and NAL are in the same label, RCA, we will get the same buthurts cycle as 2009 again :-/ ... When Adam get more coverage or show up in more talk shows or tv shows, you will hear the same crap agai n, that Sony/RCA uses all the promotion money to Adam ;D ;D ;D ;D Well, they do!

One of my favorite versions of "Oh Holy Night" was by Andy Williams. Found this link on youtube. www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-RAnkH8JxcWe had an eclectic christmas album collection when I was growing up. The Chipmunks Christmas (red vinyl) The Osmond Brothers Christmas (pre Donny) Nelson Eddy Perry Como Jim Nabors (yes Gomer Pyle, seriously awesome voice - my fav was "Do You Hear What I Hear") Bing Crosby Unfortunately I have a real problem with other versions of most xmas songs than the ones I grew up with because they just don't sound right. Comes from playing those few albums we had almost CONSTANTLY. As a young child I just couldn't get enough of sing a longs and the xmas songs were the best for that. Along with Doris Day and Englebert Humperdink. ETA: This was the other one I was looking for, Nelson Eddy www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtCxueCpXRE

It used to be my contention that only Andy Williams should be allowed to sing O Holy Night. Then I heard Josh Groban's version and expanded my demand to include him. I know that if I ever heard Adam sing it, he would be my one and only choice to sing it forevermore.

Current mood: 8toinfinity... LOL!!! Expending vast amounts of energy, but goin' nowhere!! OR... You're being an eternal optimist! ;D BOTH!! Count me as another one that can let some of the cray crays on Twitter get to me. Haven't been there all afternoon. Okay, team rose colored glasses, I have read through the thread and I don't really see a lot of angst going on. Confusion, yes. Angst no. But, hey, my sunglasses really are sort of rose colored and I LOVE THEM. The fall colors and sunsets look especially beautiful. So, I'd love to be on the team! 8-) As to NAL, I know they are not competing anymore and I'm like the NY Times, I think Adam won anyway, but the emotions ran deep that season and I think that feeling of competitiveness (which sometimes seemed as much about lifestyle as it was singing) is hard to let go as I mentioned much earlier in the thread. Believe it or not, I like Kris, it's some of his supporters that get my dander up. Okay. No more NAL.

I didn't mention anyone, I was just making a general point. I'm not actually a church goer myself. As for Kris, he began the song with this controversial verse: Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion too Imagine all the people Living life in peace... Perhaps, he was making a point. I'm done and you can delete, if you wish. Perhaps he was singing along to the Glee track that started at the second verse. On the show, the deaf school signed the first verse. NAL had to start at the second verse because that is the arrangement they told him to do. Perhaps.
