Craazyforadam - You're right! I remember now that AO had the digital DL first for FYE. Just checked my info & I'm still good on there. Thanks for the reminder! Why am I suddenly craving chocolate? ??? Did someone say chocolate? Simple pleasures!

Rihannsu - agreed that others have recorded different versions of a song. But if Adam actually gave people in the business different versions to listen to, so that these radio folks are now comparing apples and oranges without knowing it, then that is certainly taking this game to a different level. That could also explain why they were asked not to mention the title. Because if the same title with different musical descriptions came up in tweets, the game would be uncovered too soon. We obviously will find out how this develops over the next few days....and so will everybody else as the plot thickens (or falls apart - lol)
The risk is that PDs might make a pre-mature decision to add or not add based on only one version...not sure how much time prior to the actual week a playlist has to be created, but if the add date is in January, then PDs would get three or even four weeks to get themselves sorted out, assuming the press announcement happens this Friday. Perhaps the freeze can be useful in this case after all.
I don't know....I am just trying to make sense out of the puzzle pieces we presently have and this seems to me right now the most worthy contender. Feels like Sherlock Holmes here - and I am totally having fun playing this guessing game. No stress whatsoever, I am sure Adam will have this totally under control, but he knows how to be a few steps ahead of everybody and I think he may be playing with all of us here. I'm actually loving it!

Have we done anything about a gifting place for those who don't have the money for the single or album? I will be happy to gift the single the minute it comes out to anyone who can't afford one. I think all I need is an e-mail address. Just PM me and the minute it hits itunes, I will send you the release.

Hey all - had fun just now reading all the banter about Toby Knapp's tweet and blog. Lots of assumptions made on very little fact. I have listened to Toby's drive time show on hot 99.5 for a couple of years now and have talked to him on the phone several times. Also exchanged texts and emails and he played WWFM several times on request during the evening drive. His station, however, is not a big Adam supporter. The morning show, Kane, does not like Adam, or Glamberts, at all. Rarely ever played WWFM and IIHY even less.
Toby, however, is a big Idol supporter and has attended the finals several times, done interviews, etc. He has always been an Adam supporter, but it is hard to see that because of the limited play on his station.
I think that he likes the song, loves Adam's voice, and is protecting his information because he wants to maintain his relationships with the RCA radio promo guys. I wouldn't read anything else into what he said. It will be very interesting to see what he says once the song is officially released.
I hate to see all the negative posts about him from people who don't know him at all. He seems like a good guy to me. That's all.

Smile. I thoroughly agreed with your earlier post, too. Just hadn't gotten as far as replying. We are not alone. Angelina Kalahari and I have chatted about the a"Adam broke everything" phenomenon. It is true for her as well, and she has heard and sung wth some of the best opera singers in the world. cassie, I want to hear Adam duet with Steve Balsamo singing this song Duet? Can't see that. Adam singing the hell out of this song? Yeah. That. Ded. Balsamo does great, and he is a wonderful actor in this part. Adam, however, has a more powerful voice bottom to top with lots more presence and resonance. IMO, Balsamo is a very good singer who gives this song impact with his acting. Adam, is an extraordinary singer who can also immerse himself into the interpretation of a song. In other words, he can do all that Balsamo does, and then some. But can you imagine the cyclone of protests that a "glam, gay guy" is portraying Jesus? Oh, lordy!

I'm actually loving it! Except I think if you throw everything Glamazon at IDF said into the trash where it belongs, it all fits together just fine, with some wiggle room for differences in how people perceive tempo. Not that your idea wouldn't be a fun one! But it unfortunately doesn't take into account the reality that splitting promotion efforts (and money!) between two different versions of a song (basically the equivalent of two songs) in today's modern radio environment would probably not be a smart business decision. And Adam is a smart businessman. Remixes after the song succeeds on the other hand? Would not surprise me.

Agree with everything you wrote about Toby, I want to add a bit about Kane -- I have talked to Kane a bit, He likes Adam, but not his singles as much, And he does not have anything against Adam fans -- just against the rabid OTT Glamberts who crowded out his listeners requesting WWFM and were not listening to his show.

And Adam is a smart businessman. Not necessarily. When the accoustic WWFM was released if stations spun it instead of the regular version it still counted as spins for WWFM. Took a few days for mediabase to catch up but the same goes for remixes. If a station spins a remix it still counts as spins for that song. So if they did different versions of BTIKM it is possible that they could all count for the same song as far as radio spins. Now I don't know if that would be the same for sales but we're just talking radio here. Look at what he did with Aftermath. Album version is rock anthem then he did accoustic version then he did dance remix. Same song different versions. That's kind of what I'm talking about.
